(Evy's Point of View)

"Please, move in with me, don't say no,"

Suddenly, Seb's words rang in my ears, and the pen in my palm fell.

Moving in?

Wasn't that a little too quick? Although our relationship progressed quickly, was I prepared for such a commitment? I would be living with Seb as my husband.

The entire idea was lovely, but it was also terrifying.

I sighed, suddenly feeling exhausted. A grin started to form on my lips as I looked down at the ring on my finger. Another chance? I'd finally be happy, right? Seb would never become like him?

"What's on your mind?"

My head sprang up and I stared at Diana, who was standing in front of my table and the door, as I realized I hadn't noticed her walk in.

"Can you tell me what's on your mind?" She repeated with a head tilt. "A penny for your thoughts, you know two heads are better than one," she said as she sat down on the chair, her gaze fixed on me. I knew she wouldn't leave until I told her what I was thinking.
