Emma had pools of sweat stream down her back as she tried to calm her nerves but was failing horribly, she was close to fainting from all the nervousness she was feeling. She looked over to Lucas who was ever so calm like he wasn’t about to brew a storm.

He had waited for the elevators to finally close before he decided to tell Emma the severity of the situation. They would have to release a photo of them into the public to confirm their relationship. Even though he had assured her that there would be no leaked photo of her, because she would be wearing a mask since they were going for a masquerade ball afterwards, it would be perfect.

That didn’t help her at all in that situation, they were currently in a basement of some building and Lucas had her leaning on his car with him towering over her.
