2. Sharing Love

Adam walked out slowly from room 509 to room 406, where Sabrina was. He rushed over because he was so afraid of Sabrina's anger. There was no way he would allow himself to fail on the first night of such an important mission, right?

The man knocked on the door and found Sabrina opening the door quickly. A sign that he had been waiting for Adam's presence for a long time.

"You were having a good time, huh? What were you doing?" Sabrina snapped. Her anger didn't match her sweet face. Her long wavy hair made her look even more elegant. How graceful her appearance if she didn’t rage. "I've been waiting for you! Forever."

"Sabrina, stop! She is my wife. Even though this is all an act, I have to treat her like a real wife. Otherwise, my dad will cancel my inheritance!" retorted Adam trying to calm down.

"But you said that I am the only woman you love, Adam!" protested Sabrina, getting annoyed. Her round amber eyes widened as she stared intently at her husband. "You are mine."

Correct. Sabrina agreed to all of Adam's charades on one condition. She didn't want to be a second. Even though their relationship was kept a secret, she still wanted to be the top priority woman in Adam’s life. Maybe, according to the law, Sabrina didn't have any power. Yet, at least, she held the key to being the only woman he loved.

If Adam was able to fulfill these conditions, Sabrina would still want to be with Adam. She would not get public recognition that she was Adam's wife. That was hard enough for a woman to accept. For the sake of love, Sabrina would do anything even if her heart hurt so much.

However, because Adam's father was ill, Sabrina chose to be patient and trusted Adam that he would divorce Maya after her father passed away. Even if she had to be patient, she would someday become Adam's real wife.

Adam hugged Sabrina tightly. The two of them were only wearing nightgowns that weren't thick enough to hide the charm underneath. His desire escalated quickly.

"Come on! Let's continue the discussion in bed, Bree!" Adam seduced his woman so that she would not continue nagging.

"Oh no! You must have no energy left!" Sabrina refused, turning away from Adam and heading to bed without showing the slightest desire. "She drained your stamina away, no?"

Sabrina crossed her arms, an action she didn't realize made her charm even more beautiful. Of course, Adam was tempted to touch her.

"Bree, I'm so strong! Do you need solid proof?" Adam asked in a seductive tone. He then grabbed Sabrina's wrist and claimed her lips. The atmosphere was getting thicker and thicker with desire. 

Even Sabrina, who had been angry, had just forgotten about the problem. Adam was so good at making Sabrina fall for his touch. 

The situation was getting hotter and hotter. Adam showed Sabrina that he didn't exhaust himself from spending the night with Maya.

Sabrina was satisfied. Of course, this made her mood change greatly. Like now, she was no longer angry at Adam. The round-eyed beautiful woman leaned spoiled on his shoulder while playing with her hand on her husband's body. He liked the docile Sabrina. They both continued to have sex until morning came.

Maybe people think that to cheat like Adam, takes a lot of energy. However, Adam was a reliable businessman. Even in this case, he had a way of not running out of energy quickly but could please his partner well. One of his tricks was adding the sleeping powder to Maya’s drink. It was an important part of his plan.

Dawn was breaking. Sabrina had no more energy. They fell asleep and did it again soon after waking up. Great fun for both. However, this time Sabrina was tired. 

"Enough, Adam! We still have tomorrow," complained Sabrina, unable to lift her heavy eyelid.

"Then I'll go back to Maya's room, okay? I am afraid she'll wake up and find that I'm not in the room," he said goodbye.

Sabrina didn't give him an answer. She just nodded silently. The woman kept her eyes closed until he came out of her room.

Sabrina's eyes were closed as if sleeping. However, since Adam said goodbye, Sabrina's sleepiness suddenly disappeared. Her eyes were shedding tears. She thought she would be able to endure the hardships. Fighting for their love that has blossomed for dozen of years since they were still in high school.

The absence of his parents' blessing made the path of love full of thorns and wounds. Sabrina had tried to run away from Adam but always failed. She realized that her love was only for Adam. Her soul and body were only for the man.

Sometimes, Sabrina wanted to be Maya who could have Adam without working hard. Without even asking.

Frequently, when Sabrina crosses paths with Maya, she wanted to harm the woman so that she didn't get in the way of her love for Adam. However, Sabrina didn’t have the heart to do it. She was not an evil woman who would sacrifice other people's lives and safety just for her happiness.

She wanted to ask Adam to just elope with her. However, she could not see him suffering, living in poverty. After all, his father’s money was his birthright. She understood why he wanted to fight for it.

It's suffocating. Being a mistress was never an easy task. What woman in this world can endure as much stress as she was currently experiencing?

“This is all Paul's fault,” Sabrina muttered, cursing at Adam’s father. From the beginning, the old man had never shown good intentions to accept Sabrina as his daughter-in-law.

Sabrina prayed that this was their last difficulty. She was so tired of the so-called struggle of love. The woman was eager to enjoy the results after the long struggle she had been through.

Adam returned to room 506 sneakily so his wife wouldn't wake up. He slipped under the blankets and closed his eyes, pretending to be asleep, hoping he would fall asleep, even for a while.

However, of course, it was difficult for Adam. In his mind, a lot of problems made him anxious. Today alone he had nearly failed the game. How would he make it through the following nights?

Carrying out the obligations as a good husband and an unfaithful one at a time was very heavy. Naturally, almost no one did the kind of thing he was currently doing. He should deal with this well. If not, the door of failure would soon open and welcome him, showering him with problem after problem which would result in huge losses.

Adam's head thought about the various possibilities he could do to be able to spend his days later. However, to keep Sabrina's love amid all this charade, he must play a fair game, or … it was okay to be unfair, as long as Sabrina and Maya weren't angry.

Maya didn't know about Sabrina. Tricking Maya, of course, would be easier. However, Sabrina was different. She knew that he had a wife, the lawful one he was obligated to look up to openly. The woman would count every second Adam was not by her side and ask where he had been all day.

So confusing! Adam regretted a little, why did he have such a difficult situation to live with?

When almost giving up, sparked a brilliant idea in the man’s head. It seemed, he would be able to go through everything quite easily. Most importantly, Adam thought he would be able to do his plan successfully.
