It wasn't a dream.

I desperately glanced around again, with a dreary feeling in my stomach.

The crowd was real, the constant shutters of cameras were real, the hushed murmurings of everyone gathered around and the very scene unfolding before me, all of it was real.

Tears threatened to spill as I gasped once more at the realization.

I have to get out of here …
