Alexander pov
Alexander was sitting at his desk, going through his schedule for the week when his assistant came in to remind him about his upcoming trip to visit his mother and sister in their family estate. He groaned inwardly as he remembered the reason for the trip - his mother's incessant nagging about him settling down and getting married.
He had managed to avoid the topic during their last conversation, but he knew his mother wouldn't let it go. He didn't want to hear any more of her matchmaking schemes, especially not when he had more pressing matters to attend to, like the merger deal with a rival company.
Alexander was tempted to cancel the trip, but he knew it would only make his mother more upset. Besides, he hadn't seen his sister in a while and he missed her. He sighed and agreed to go, mentally preparing himself for the inevitable conversation.
Alexander and his driver made their way to his family estate in his sleek black Rolls-Royce Phantom. As he approached the grand gates, they opened automatically, granting access to the vast property. The luxurious car glided along the perfectly manicured driveway, passing lush gardens and sparkling fountains, until it came to a stop in front of the magnificent mansion.
Alexander stepped out of the car, adjusting his designer suit before making his way towards the entrance, where his mother and sister were waiting eagerly to greet him. As he approached the entrance, he was greeted with hugs and kisses from his mother and sister.
"Alexander, my dear, it's so good to see you," his mother said, giving him a tight hug.
"It's good to see you too, Mother," Alexander replied, returning the hug.
His sister, Lily, was beaming with joy. "Alex, you're looking great! We missed you so much," she said, hugging him tightly.
"I missed you guys too," Alexander said, smiling.
As they walked into the house, Alexander's mother started asking about his business ventures. "So, Alexander, how is the company doing? Any new projects in the pipeline?" she asked.
Alexander gave her a brief rundown of his business ventures and assured her that everything was going well.
But then, his mother's tone changed. "And what about Isabella, dear? Have you thought about settling down with her?"
Alexander felt his anxiety rise at the mention of marriage. He had always been hesitant to commit to anyone, and the thought of marriage made him feel trapped. "Mother, Isabella and I are very happy together, but we haven't talked about marriage yet," he said, trying to downplay the topic.
"But Alexander, you're not getting any younger. It's time to start thinking about your future and building a family," his mother persisted.
Alexander sighed inwardly. He knew his mother meant well, but he wasn't ready for the pressure to settle down. "Mother, can we please talk about something else? How is Aunt Marie doing?"
His sister chimed in, eager to change the subject as well. "Aunt Marie is doing well, she sends her love. She's been asking about you, Alexander."
The conversation turned to family news and events, and Alexander felt himself relax a little. The rest of the evening passed by in a blur of conversation, laughter, and good food.
As he retired to his room for the night, Alexander's mind was filled with thoughts of his mother's expectations and the pressure to settle down. He couldn't help but wonder if there was more to life than just success and wealth.
The next morning, Alexander woke up early and decided to take a walk around the estate. He needed some fresh air and time to clear his head. As he strolled along the well-manicured gardens, he couldn't help but think about his conversation with his mother the previous night. She had been relentless in her pursuit of finding him a suitable wife.
Alexander knew he was expected to marry someone of his mother's choosing, someone from a wealthy and influential family. But he wasn't ready for that yet. He enjoyed being single and having the freedom to do whatever he wanted without any obligations and also sleeping around with beautiful women.
As he walked, he saw his mother's prized rose garden, which was in full bloom. He stopped to admire the roses and noticed a woman kneeling down and tending to the flowers. It was the estate's head gardener, Maria, a woman he had known since he was a child.
"Good morning, Maria," he greeted her.
"Good morning, Mr. Alexander," Maria replied, smiling up at him.
"How are the roses doing?" he asked, looking around at the beautiful flowers.
"They are doing well, sir. But we had a bit of trouble with some pests last week, so I had to take care of them," Maria explained.
"Well, you've done a great job as always," Alexander complimented her.
Maria thanked him, and he continued his walk around the estate, feeling more relaxed and at peace. He knew he had to find a way to talk to his mother about his plans without hurting her feelings or disappointing her.
Alexander had spent a few days at his family estate, catching up with his mother and sister. As Alexander was getting ready to leave, his mother and sister came to say goodbye. They hugged him tightly and promised to keep in touch more often.
"Please don't be a stranger, Alexander. We miss you and love you," his mother said.
"I won't, Mom. I promise to visit more often," Alexander replied, hugging his sister as well.
As he got into his car and the driver started the engine, Alexander couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. He had grown up in that house, surrounded by the love and support of his family. He took one last look at the house and smiled to himself.
Once he arrived back at his apartment, his girlfriend Isabella visited him.
Isabella arrived at Alexander's mansion in her black Lamborghini Aventador, dressed in a tight-fitting red dress and six-inch stilettos. The Butler who opened the door was a few seconds late due to him attending to other matters, and she rudely snapped at him.
When they sat down to have dinner, the lady serving them was slightly slow in bringing the food, and Isabella lost her temper, slapping her across the face. Alexander was taken aback by her behavior, he had never seen her act so cruelly towards someone. Even though he was used to sleeping around, he still had a human heart and could not tolerate such mistreatment of others.
He immediately stood up, his face reddening with anger, and told Isabella that her behavior was unacceptable. He demanded that she apologize to the lady, which she reluctantly did. But Alexander knew that he had seen a side of Isabella that he did not like, and he began to question whether she was the right person to be with.
As they continued with dinner, the atmosphere was tense, and Alexander was silent for the rest of the night. Isabella tried to make small talk, but he was not interested. He knew that he had to reevaluate their relationship and figure out whether he wanted someone like her in his life.

Isabella told the housekeeper her plan. It was risky, but it was the only way that the housekeeper could see to save her daughter. The housekeeper was shocked and disgusted when Isabella told her to put something in Bryan's food or drink. She couldn't believe that Isabella would even suggest such a thing."I would never do anything to hurt an innocent child," the housekeeper said. "I'm a mother myself, and I know how precious children are.""But Celine has done something terrible to me," Isabella said. "She stole my man from me, and she's trying to ruin my life.""I understand that you're angry," the housekeeper said. "But hurting Bryan won't solve anything. It will only make things worse.""I don't care," Isabella said. "I just want Celine to pay for what she's done.""There are other ways to get back at her," the housekeeper said. "You could report her to the police, or you could just look for another man. But hurting Bryan is not the answer."The housekeeper was shocked when Isabel
Isabella POVIsabella sat in her study, her fingers steepled together as she listened to her spy's report."He has hired a new housekeeper," the spy said. "A young woman, no more than 40 years old. She is from a small village in the countryside."Isabella nodded. "I see. "What else do you know about her?" she asked."She is very quiet," the spy said. "She keeps to herself mostly. But she does seem to be very good at her job."Isabella nodded again. "I see."Isabella's eyes widened in surprise when her spy told her about the housekeeper's daughter. She had not expected that the housekeeper would have a family, let alone a child who was sick.Isabella thought for a moment, then smiled. She knew exactly how she could use this information to her advantage. She knew that she had to do something about this. "Thank you for the information," she said to the spy. A week after the incident at the business party, Alexander had to go on a business trip to Dubai for two weeks. He told Celine that he would be back as soon as possible. "But I'll be back."Bryan started to cry. "Don't go, Daddy," he said. "I want to go with you."Alexander picked up Bryan and held him close. "I wish you could come with me," he said. "But I have to go by myself."He kissed Bryan on the forehead. "I'll be back before you know it," h
Alexander told his wife Celine that he needed to take the restroom. He excused himself and went down the hall to the restroom. It was a standard hotel room, with a bed, a dresser, a nightstand, and a television.Alexander walked over to the window and looked out. He could see the city below him. It has been hours since the party has started and Alexander drank the wine that Isabella paid a guy to put an aphrodisiac in it. "Alexander, Let's rest for a while."Celine said to Alexander. "I am a little tired and I know you are tired too.""Alright."Alexander said with a smile."Would you like to get some fresh air outside?""Mm-hmm."Celine nodded.
