There was suddenly a lot more of Lexi wrapping around Jinx. Nothing grew back that had been severed as Jinx felt two paws petting his back and one more caressing the top of his head.
It was a fantastic kiss. Jinx thought this kind of kiss would feel like no other, that first kiss with his Innehavre. Jinx knew without a doubt at that moment that Lexi was his. Instead of fireworks and erasing every other kiss he'd had from his mind, it was like his favorite moment between casting a card and the spell happening. Maybe it wasn't the best of ideas to follow the threads Hades had created to connect with his no-fur, at least not in his present condition, but King felt compelled.
