Chapter 47 - The challenge

Sally POV

Pasha and I stiffened and scrambled to the furthest corner of our cells when we heard the door to the dungeon open.

I didn’t really know what to expect. In a way, I hoped that it was just Nick. He was the only one that was nice to me here.

We heard some shuffling and footsteps coming down the stairs. I frowned. Either the person had four feet or there were two people coming our way.

I looked up and couldn’t believe what I saw.

It was Hudson and Luke that stormed into the dungeon.

“Hudson?” I asked.

Hudson’s head snapped in my direction and his eyes widened.

“Sally.” He hissed. “Don’t worry. We’re here to get you out.”

Luke tossed the keys to him and he started to unlock the cell door.

When the door opened, Luke rushed into the cell and crouched down beside me.

“Are you hurt, Lala?” He asked worriedly.

I blinked rapidly to stop the tears from falling from my eyes.

Luke hugged me tightly and I groaned in pain.
