He said it.
There was no taking back. The words left his mouth. All that was left was his pride on the verge of shattering. Brandon looked at Celeste, frowning when he realized she was biting her lips. It took everything in him from kissing her again, just to punish her for biting her lips.
But then, her strong scent of roses almost broke Brandon's control.
He retreated away from her, closing his nose. He couldn't breathe Celeste's scent more than he had to. Right now, her scent had filled the living room, and Brandon could feel his wolf was clawing its way out. Having an Alpha wolf made it even more, harder to control.
