Chapter 10: Be My Servant

I opened my eyes as I felt the sunlight trickling from the windows.

Then, pain erupted in my body.

At that moment, I also remembered everything that had happened last night. It was hazy, but I still remember his touch.

Enzo.

I uttered his name over and over again as he pleasured my body. I was in my heat, and that was the very first time that someone had helped me get through it.

That’s when the tears came streaming down my face.

He saw my face, and I clearly remember the way he didn’t even let me kiss him last night.

I didn’t have any clothes on except for the blanket he had left me. Even at this point, I can still smell his scent on my body.

“You’ve got what you wanted,” his last words echoed in the back of my mind.

What does he mean by that?

Is he insinuating that I was using my heat against him?

If that is what he’s thinking, then he’s wrong. I know that it’s not an excuse that I wasn’t in my right mind, but still, he’s also one to blame for how the situation panned out.
