Chapter 15: Careful

KEILAH

"Phew," Marilyn said after we finished folding Alpha Enzo's clothes. Fortunately, I was able to get some of her help. Otherwise, I would have been here all night long.

"Thank you, Marilyn," I said.

She chuckled and patted my head. "It's no worries," she said. "I'm glad I could help you. Are you going to bring this to Alpha Enzo's room now?"

I shook my head. "I'll do it tomorrow. He might be asleep now, and I don't really want to disturb him."

"Alright," she said. "Then, do you want to head to the maids' quarters for a bit to freshen up? I heard you don't have any water in your room."

"Yeah," I looked down at the ground. "Queen Grace locked the bathroom of the guest room. I guess she really doesn't want me to be there."

"To hell with that woman," she said.

"Marilyn!" I exclaimed. "She may hear you, you know?"

"She doesn't come here," she said. "In fact, none of the royal family members come down here anyway. They're all too pristine and spoiled to be doing chores."
