KEILAH
I felt the man’s hands and noticed that they were bigger and rougher than Weston’s. I could also feel its bulging veins running along his skin. When holding onto his shoulders, he was much taller than I was. Weston was only a few inches taller than me, so that gave it away. The man right in front of me is not Weston. But who would come here and intrude in my cottage? As far as I know, nobody else but my relatives knows about this place. And this man right in front of me certainly didn’t feel like my other cousins.“Who are you?” I asked, abruptly moving away from him. My back hit the wall as my heart beat faster in my chest. He kept silent, and I wondered if he was still there.“Speak!” I said, feeling more fearful in my heart.“Should you really raise your voice at a prince?” he asked, and I immediately recognized his voice.Prince Enzo. The very prince that Isabelle is supposed to marry. What is he doing here?I took a step back, but I had nowhere else to go. I could see his shadow, and I could tell he was walking nearer and nearer to me.“What are you doing? Stay back,” I said, my voice shaking. He chuckled, the deep and airy sound sending shivers down my spine.“I said—should you be talking to me in that tone, servant?”I pursed my lips together as I felt his presence just right in front of me.“Can you please just leave?” I said, my voice wavering.I didn't know what to do.And I also don't know what he would do."Apologize, then," he said. "You bumped into me and dared defy my words.""And you intruded in my home, pretended to be my servant, and even ate the meal that I prepared. I think I've already paid for my mistake—if that can even be considered as one."I heard him scoff. "Do you know who I am?""I do," I raised my head. "You're the respected prince that Isabelle is supposed to marry. But, I really don't know why you would be respected if you act so high and mighty."I know that I shouldn't provoke him more, but I've had enough of this day, and I really don't want to deal with anything anymore. The atmosphere became silent, so I thought that he had already left after he heard my words. However, I suddenly felt someone hold onto my cloak, causing my heart to jump out of my chest."This damn thing has been in my mind all day," he growled, before taking the cloak in his hands and ripping it away from my face.May long hair flew up into the hair, and my senses were alerted. This cloak—I have been wearing this cloak after I became blind. I lost the concept of what I looked like, and with my relatives constantly making me feel like I was the ugliest person in the entire world, I knew that hiding my face would be better for my heart. So far, aside from Weston and Lucky, nobody has ever seen my face after I turned 16. Now at 21, I certainly don't have any plans of showing my face to a prince I barely even knew. With my heightened senses, I was able to cover my face with my arms before he could catch a glimpse. He sighed in frustration and held onto my arms.I gasped as I felt the strange sparks erupt in my skin. He felt nice, but he certainly wasn't acting like it.He stopped momentarily, too, so I wondered if he also felt the same sparks that I did."Remove your arms," he commanded, putting more force into pulling them away. With my strength, I managed to push him away, but that only led him to become more persistent. His strength was out of this world, and I was reminded once again that he was an Alpha. And I, an omega. Before I even knew it, he had already removed my arms from my face, so I cast down my head so my hair could act like curtains. His actions became gentler as he reached out his hand to uncover my face.I was shaking. He was going to see the monstrosity that is me."Keilah!" a familiar voice screamed, causing Prince Enzo to retreat his hand."What? Prince Enzo? What are you doing here?" Weston screamed as he went over our way.He gasped as he saw that my cloak had been removed."Keilah," he said, unzipping his jacket and placing it over my face.I sighed in relief as I used the thick cloth to cover my face."What are you doing?" he asked, his voice sounding like he was ready to fight.I held onto his arm and pulled him back. I don't want Weston to get into trouble for defying the prince."Leave," I said, my voice still shaking. "I'm sorry for everything I had done, so please, leave."I heard him sigh before his dignified footsteps became more distant. When I heard the door slam close, I knew that he wasn't around anymore.***ENZO"Fuck," I cursed under my breath as I walked away from the cottage.
I've never felt so conflicted in my life.
I just want her to take off her cloak.
That's all there is to it.
Yet, that Weston guy looked at me with such profound hatred that I felt like I was the one in the wrong.
And to think that the mysterious cloaked omega could become even more mysterious.
There's just something about her that I'm itching to find out about.
At first, I really didn't know whether I should stay in this kingdom or not, but I think I finally found my answer.
I made my way back to the car, where I saw my father waiting for me outside.
Matthew, my royal guard, was also with him, and they appeared to be looking for me.
"Enzo!" my dad exclaimed. "There you are. We've been trying to contact you for ages."
I chuckled and scratched the back of my head.
"Sorry. I didn't check my phone," I said. "I'm not late, aren't I?"
He sighed. "It's already 8 PM. Your mother had texted me that we should head home right about now. So, let's go," he said, opening the car door.
I stood in the same place as my father went inside.
"Well," he said. "Aren't you going to come in?"
I shook my head.
"I'm staying, dad," I said, causing him to raise his eyebrows in surprise.
"You finally made up your mind?" he asked.
"Yes."
He smiled. "Well then. I guess you're actually quite interested in knowing about Princess Isabelle, huh?"
I pursed my lips together.
"Alright," he said. "I'll allow you to stay here for a month. Matthew will be with you throughout your stay, and don't hesitate to contact us if you run into any trouble."
"Will do, dad," I said.
"Good," he nodded his head.
"See you in a month," I said.
"See you in a month—hopefully with a wife," he cheekily said.
So, Enzo's going to be staying with the Lockharts, huh? What do you guys think about the characters at this point?
ENZO“We’re so glad that you chose to stay here,” Queen Grace greeted me as soon as I went inside their mansion.I nodded my head. “I’ll be staying here for the entire month with my guard, Matthew. Thank you for accommodating us.”“No need to thank us. We have already prepared everything for your stay. Matthew will be staying in one of the rooms on the first floor.”“Thank you,” Matthew bowed. “On the other hand, I prepared your room upstairs, Enzo,” she smiled. “Just right across Isabelle’s room.”“Alright,” I said. Although I would much prefer to stay here downstairs with Matthew, I was thankful that Isabelle and I didn’t have to share a room with each other. “Well then, let us lead you to your rooms.”The servants escorted Matthew to his room while Queen Grace led me to mine.“Your room is right here,” she said. “I hope you enjoy your stay. If you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to knock on Isabelle’s door. You can even stay in her room if you’d like,” she said in a joking manne
KEILAHI felt tears brimming in my eyes as I felt the cold mud against my skin.I tried standing up, but the mud only pulled me down, causing me to sit back down with a pathetic splattering sound. I tried this a couple more times, but they only resulted in the same event. My cousins’ laughter resounded once more, continually teasing me for my struggles. I turned toward their direction.“Can you—can you help me please?” I asked, swallowing my pride. As much as I tried, I don’t think I’ll be able to get out of here without anybody else’s help.“But you look so comfortable!” Evelyn exclaimed. “We’ll leave for a while, so try to enjoy your stay, alright?”“Wh—what?” I stammered. “You’re going to leave me here?”They chuckled, then I heard their chattering and chuckles becoming more and more distant. “Wait! Help me out!” I exclaimed, but they continued to ignore my words. After a few seconds, everything turned silent, so I knew that they were already gone—and I was all alone in this mud
Trigger Warning: This chapter contains mature sexual content. Read at your own discretion. ENZO I don't even know what I'm doing back here. I stared at the humble cottage right before my eyes and shook my head in disbelief. I just wanted to walk around since I felt suffocated in the mansion, but before I even knew it, my feet led me here—back to the blind omega's cottage. Keilah—that's her name. I heard it after that Weston guy called for her. "Fuck," I muttered under my breath. I should head back and forget about her existence. She's an omega—the kind that I hate, and I shouldn't let my beliefs be swayed just because I'm curious about what she looks like. I turned away from the cottage and started walking back, when I smelled the familiar scent of peach getting stronger and stronger than before. I frowned. That's fucking strange. Why does her scent smell even sweeter than usual? Am I hallucinating? It turns out, I wasn't hallucinating; because the next thing I knew, I
KEILAHI opened my eyes as I felt the sunlight trickling from the windows. Then, pain erupted in my body.At that moment, I also remembered everything that had happened last night. It was hazy, but I still remember his touch.Enzo.I uttered his name over and over again as he pleasured my body. I was in my heat, and that was the very first time that someone had helped me get through it.That’s when the tears came streaming down my face. He saw my face, and I clearly remember the way he didn’t even let me kiss him last night.I didn’t have any clothes on except for the blanket he had left me. Even at this point, I can still smell his scent on my body.“You’ve got what you wanted,” his last words echoed in the back of my mind. What does he mean by that?Is he insinuating that I was using my heat against him? If that is what he’s thinking, then he’s wrong. I know that it’s not an excuse that I wasn’t in my right mind, but still, he’s also one to blame for how the situation panned out.
KEILAH "What?" I asked, his words not registering in my mind yet. Servant? "I said—be my servant. Is that too hard to comprehend?" he asked. "But, why me?" I asked. "I didn't do anything wrong to you." He chuckled coldly, taking a step forward. I felt his body right in front of me, yet I couldn't move. The power he was emanating was too much that it made me weak in the knees. "You said you'd do anything, right?" I pursed my lips together and looked to the side. "Don't involve Keilah in any of this," Weston interrupted. "You've already done enough. Face me like a man." "Then, face me in a battle," he said in a cocky voice. "I'm not that hard to please. Whatever you say, goes." "Fine," Weston said. "It's not like I can't beat you anyway." I closed my eyes to think for a second. "When will it be?" Weston challenged. "As soon as possible," Enzo said. "I'll do it," I said, interrupting their conversation. "What?" Weston snapped. "Are you out of your mind, Keilah?" Enz
KEILAHI let out a tired sigh as I wiped my sweat with my cloak. Enzo ordered me to wash all his clothes, and the amount of clothes he has for a month's stay is honestly ridiculous. I don't even know why he wants me to wash all his clothes again when they've been newly sent-out by his family. But, I couldn't really defy his words, so I just let it be. He also wants me to hand wash all of these, which just makes it more difficult. It's a good thing that Marilyn helped me separate the colored clothes from the white ones; otherwise, I don't even know how I'd manage. "Last batch," I muttered under my breath, trying to cheer myself up. I tried convincing myself that this is nothing compared to everything I've been through. I got up from the small chair and stretched my back after I finished washing the clothes. I only had to rinse them one more time, so I excitedly tipped over the soapy water down the drain to replace it with clean water. However, as I went to fetch some clean water,
ENZO"Holy shit," he muttered under his breath. My gaze strayed over to Keilah and saw that her cloak had been slightly blown away by the breeze. Despite the fair distance, her beauty couldn't be hidden. Her hair blew against the wind, and her eyes shone under the bright sun. Her eyes widened in surprise as she tried to place her cloak back on. "What the fuck?" Matthrew exclaimed. "Is that really Keilah? She's beautiful!"I frowned and looked away from the scene. "She's alright," I said. "Alright?" Matthew asked. "Have you seen her face? I can't believe I assumed that she looked ugly when she literally looks like that. You must really have high standards if you think she's just alright. She's even prettier than all the other princesses combined."I didn't know why I was being agitated by the way he spoke about Keilah, so I sighed and crossed my arms in front of my chest. "I'll head inside. I still have something to let her do.""What?" he asked. "What else could you possible make he
KEILAH Our conversation came to a halt as Enzo entered the room.My shoulders stiffened with his presence. Couldn’t he have gone out with Isabelle for longer? Fortunately, Matthew was with me, and he chuckled as a response.“You’re back home?” he asked. “I thought you would be back by the evening.”Enzo hummed. “You didn’t answer my question. What are you two doing?”Matthew sighed. “We’re washing your clothes.”He was silent for a while, then I felt him walking over my way. “You’re still not finished?” he asked. I underestimated how close he was as I felt his hot breath brush over my forehead.I pursed my lips together. “An accident happened, sir,” I explained. “And we had to wash your clothes once again.”He sighed in frustration, and I honestly felt quite anxious.“What can you even do right? You actually asked my royal guard to help you with your incompetence?”“It’s not like that,” Matthew tried to explain. “She was diligently doing her chores when—“He didn’t even finish his
