Nikki POV

I need a break. Everything has been in such chaos lately that I have lost contact with what is important and what isn’t. I messaged Jonas and asked him to grab the twins and meet me at K&T after they got out of school for the day. Of course when I walk in Ms. Kayla greets me with a smile and a hug. “Are you ok Nikki? You don’t seem your usual happy self?” She asks, looking me over. “I am fine Ms. Kayla, I just need a minute to relax and be normal. Everything has just been so busy since I got home that I haven’t had a lot of time to cherish the things I have missed about home,” I replied as I looked over the menu board. “How about I bring you some chai tea instead of your usual? There’s still a little pick me up but with a little mental floss added in,” she offered and got busy making the drink.

    Kendall POV Things went so well meeting with the elders today and I couldn’t be happier. I realize that a name change isn’t much in reality, but I feel like it is one more step away from my father and all of his misdeeds and something that will have a positive effect on pack morale.     Mia POV I am so proud of the progress that Kendall has made at sifting through the mess left behind by Hollis and the rogues.
