LOGIN6 SIX YEARS LATERBLOOD MOON PACK Ayla's finial povSoft morning light slipped through the tall windows and stretched across the room and onto the bed we laid on.I stirred beneath it and for a moment, I didn't open my eyes, I simply breathed, letting the warmth settle against my skin, letting the stillness exist without interruption. I could never get tired of this. Of peace. Everytime it hit, it was still a strange thing, something I hadn't fully learned how to trust yet. But thoughts like this lasted only for a millisecond. Beside me, Killian shifted, a vivid proof that peace could last. He wasn't awake fully but just enough to feel me, I felt his arms tighten around my waist, pulling me closer as though even in sleep, he refused to let distance exist between us. I loved it. Smiling faintly, my eyes opened slowly and I turned slightly in his arms, studying his face and sharp lines that had softened by sleep. Or so I thought. His eyes blinked slowly, forming a small smile
Third person's pov SIX YEARS LATERSEATTLE. Seattle had gotten used to luxurious Lara having Clara as its owner, especially if it was now one of the biggest fashion industries in the whole of Asia and America. The scandal about Isabel had died down, everyone believed Aiden had travelled to move on, though his mother constantly protested, she died three years back from overdose. The world had believed, Elara Voss left everything behind to start a new life in a place away from the drama. And Clara?Blond hair tied up into a neat bun, her three piece suit clinging to her body, making her look more formal than ever. She adjusted to this, she became the leader of a global company, something she never knew she could do without Ayla. She leaned back slightly in her chair, gaze drifting towards the window by her side, the city stretched endlessly below and it was such a wonder how easily things could quickly die down, like it never existed. No one ever knew werewolves existed and onc
Third person's pov The sky had begun to darken, Killian was no match for the Darkforce who had sapped energy from Ayla. The Darkforce sent an unseen force again that sent him crashing against a fallen trunk and a sharp cry ripping from his throat. It hovered above him as he groaned in pain. Killian coughed, trying to push himself up with one elbow. “Such defiance, from something so fragile…” he moved and wrapped a hand around his neck, squeezing until he couldn't breath, until he was at the verge of passing out. “Vorath!!" The voice cut through the air and the Darkforce stilled. It slowly turned to Ivy who was standing at the edge of the clearing, with hair silver and eyes glowing white. Her body was marked with ancient glowing sigils and spells with her hands slightly held up.Magic curled around her fingers like it was a living thing, making her more ethereal to look at. "I've been waiting for you.” She said calmly. The Darkforce shifted with interest. "Finally a moon v
Third person's pov When he got close, she moved first. Nyx controlled her but this was Ayla and before Kallum could strike back she hit hard.As pressure built underneath her skin, she immediately slammed into him, Kallum's body jerked as the force hit drove him further into the ground. He gritted his teeth, hands digging into the earth as he pushed himself back. And though he could fight back, he refrained and merely watched as Ayla poured all her energy into knocking him out. Finally bored of watching her, he never rose up when he crashed to the ground and as she held him against one of the trees, something shifted and her breath hitched, her grip faltered slightly and for a second her strength wavered. A smile crepted up his lips. “You're running out," he rasped. Ayla's jaw tightened as she pressed him against the tree. " No.”But her body betrayed her, she indeed was running out, every strike and pull and every second she held him down, it took somehow from her in return.
Ayla's povThe corridor blurred past me as I raced from the dungeons and to the room Killian was kept in. A million thoughts filled my head and gruesome images of what Kallum could have done if he got there first I pushed the door immediately, not bothering to knock. “Ivy…”She stood there, at the center, with books scattered across the table and sigils half drawn in the air. I could tell her expression had been tight with concentration before I stormed in. "Did you find who you were looking for?” She asked, her brows slightly knitted together. I glanced at Killain's direction and a wave of relief washed through me. He was seated upright staring at me like I was a lunatic. "What happened?” I took in air and breathed it out. " He's gone.” Ivy's brow arched like she could already guess what I mean but didn't want to bring herself to believe it. "Who is gone?” She asked as silence followed. “Kallum," I said, “he escaped, one of the guards came to tell me" Ivy's hands droppe
Ayla's pov I traced her scent down another underground dungeon entirely different from the ones I and Aiden kept. Aiden. He died because of me, because he thought he owed it to me. My chest squeezed itself so hard that I found it difficult to breathe at all.All at same time, convincing myself that I needed to focus. The corridor smelled like iron and old magic and as I walked through and past both guards standing right outside the corridors, obviously under a spell. Flickering torches by the sides as I walked in deeper. At the end of the corridor was a cell and inside it was Lila. She wasn't standing nor pacing and trying to find the easiest way out or yelling at the guards on how they were making the gravest mistake by chaining her here. She was seated on the floor, wrists bound by silver restraints and something else I can recognize as Ivy's magic. She lifted her head the moment I stepped into view, a small smile, playing at the end of her lips like she had been waiting f
Ayla's povBy dawn, I could feel power resting on my finger tips. Who knew what I needed was some training from Ivy and a passionate night with my mate. I woke up late, not late enough for some sort of punishment but late enough for her to notice. As I prepared for the day's training, I presumed
