LOGINIt’s been five days since I started my new school and surprisingly, everything has been going well, more than I expected. Although I have earned a name for myself, nobody has come looking for my trouble. My friendship with Christy was improving and I might say we are heading over to the BFF barge, yeah, that’s if my parents don't return one day and announce that we are moving. I have had three BFF’s and three of them are no longer in contact with me because I moved so far away from them and I can’t even tell when next we would be seeing each other again.
I packed my books and walked to the cafeteria. I should head to my locker and drop my books but Christy is already waiting for me and I don’t want to delay her further. Stepping into the noisy cafeteria, I sighed and searched for her. I saw her waving at me, urging me to come to her which I did. “I was beginning to wonder if you have lost your way,” she said immediately I approached her.
“I’m sorry, I can’t possibly tell what delayed me and I’m starving,” I placed my books on the table and said to her, “I will be right back,” I scurried off to fill my plate.
Returning to the table with my tray, I sat down and began eating, “my, you are really hungry,” I heard Christy say.
“You have no idea.”
“Anyway, guess what?”
“What?” I asked with a mouthful.
“Josh is throwing a party tonight and guess who is coming? Adrian!” She whispered his name in a fawning manner.
“Okay, you literally asked a question and you answered it yourself,” I reminded her.
“I can’t help it, I just love saying his name,” she continued in that same voice.
I rolled my eyes at her stupidity, I mean, what is so special about the guy? “First of all, who is Josh?”
“Really, did you just ask that question?”
“I think I did.”
“Girl, this is your fifth day in this school, where have you been?”
“Are you answering the question or what?”
“Fine, he is the captain of the football team and he is friends with Adrian and Kevin.”
“Who is Kevin?”
“Are you joking or are you serious?” She raised her eyebrow at me.
I chuckled, “fine fine, I know him.”
“Good, so after school, are you coming to my house or are we going to yours?”
“What for?”
“To prepare for the party of course.”
“I’m not going.”
“Why not?”
“First of all, I have a little brother and he is just thirteen, I can’t afford to leave him home alone and second of all, my parents are not going to be happy if they found out I did that, third, I don’t think I want to go to a party with Adrian.”
“Don’t think I need to introduce myself anymore then,” a voice said above us and we looked up to see him. Talk about the devil. He drew a chair and sat down, “hi.”
“Oh my God, Adrian is sitting at our table, do you know what that means?” Christy shrieked.
“That we need to kick him out?” I filled in.
A low chuckle rang beside me and just for once, I will admit it was beautiful, now don’t expect me to ever say that again. I turned to him and he was looking at me, his ocean eyes as bright as the sea, and it wasn’t helping with the sunlight seeping into the cafeteria, “may I ask how you are going to do that?”
“With my leg of course,” I answered, just then, I noticed how everywhere had turned quiet and how all eyes were on me.
Adrian bent over and I wanted to ask what he was doing when he sat up and smiled, “I’m afraid your legs are too small to do that.” Unbelievable, this guy actually bent down to look at my legs? Is he for real?
“Don’t worry, you will be surprised at how strong it is, don’t let the look deceive you.”
He chuckled once more, revealing pearly white teeth, “I like your enthusiasm.”
“It’s not a matter of enthusiasm but how strong it really is. Now, enough chitchats, why are you here?” I gave him my full attention, waiting for his answer.
“Molly, we really need to go," Christy said and I looked at her.
“Why do we need to go?” I frowned.
“Have you forgotten what I told you?” She was looking at a table behind her and I followed her gaze to see Stacy staring at us with a mischievous smile on her lips. Then I remembered.
“Please don’t go,” Adrian said.
I looked at him, “go where? The only person going is you.”
He smiled, “I like that, well, rest assured I’m not going anywhere.”
“Molly,” Christy called again and I glared at her.
“Calm down Chris, he is the one to leave our table for us.”
“But I don’t want to drink toilet water.”
“And who said you would be?” I asked her.
“You know what? Let’s talk after school, okay?” She stood up, picked her bag and walked out of the cafeteria.
“Coward,” I yelled after her.
“Thank you,” she yelled back.
I looked at the guy who is now alone with me, “first of all, let me start by saying that I hate you,” his eyes widened in shock, “and second, you just made it worse by driving my friend away, so which means I hate-hate you.”
“Wow, that’s literally the first time I have heard a girl say to my face that she hates me,” he shook his head in surprise.
“And you will be receiving more firsts if you don’t get out of my table,” I warned.
“My friends are right,” he chuckled, “you really have a vicious tongue.”
“I haven’t even used it on you, but it's good you noticed. Now, what do you want from me?”
“Simple, I want to be your genie.”
Aiden’s POVUgly didn’t attend her English and Math classes, the two classes she shares with me in the morning. I haven’t been able to see her again since the time in the parking lot. The whole school is going on about my relationship with Holly now and to be honest, I wasn’t thrilled with the news as I had hoped I would be.I have been going after Holly since I came to this town. Everyone said we were good together and should be the power couple of the school and they all say that I am in love with her. Along the line, I started believing it as I kept going after her. I mean, if I wasn’t in love with her why would I keep taking her rejection and still kept trying?“Damn man, you are really with Holly now?” Sam asked, his surprised evident in his voice.“To be honest, I didn’t feel like coming to school today but when I read in the school website and saw a picture of them hugging, I didn’t know when I rushed into my bathroom,” Josh revealed with a laugh.“Tell me about,” Craig began,
Harley’s POV“Lee, wait up,” Amber called to me but once I was free from the clustered students, I couldn’t stop running. I had been so happy, God, I couldn’t wait to prepare for school this morning because I couldn’t wait to see him. I knew he wouldn’t know I was the one with him on Friday but a part of me had wanted him to notice a different between Holly and I. A part of me had wanted him to see through the lies and I had been hoping on it, wishing on it.When I saw him just now, looking as handsome as he always does in his black leather jacket with white shirt underneath and his black ripped jean and black Nike, he took my very breath away and I just couldn’t stop staring. His hair brown and curly and shinny as always and his eyes, oh those eyes, they were on me and for that moment I didn’t see the mockery he always had in them when looking at me. It almost fell like he was going to come to me and my heart was beating so fast and I was just waiting for him to do so but then Holly
Aiden’s POVHolly had left my room before I could wake up on Saturday morning. Pauline told me she left as early as six in the morning and that she said she had something to take care of. I was surprised; Holly had something to take care of? But then I remembered that she had attended my party which was a first so maybe she really does have something to do. I spent the weekend missing and thinking about her and our moment on Friday night. As I parked my car in the student’s lot and glanced around, not seeing the pink Beetle, I knew she hasn’t come to school yet so I climbed out of the car and leaned on the hood, waiting for her. I can’t wait to see her. I have missed those eyes, that smile and that face. I sighed and licked my lips, patiently waiting and not ready to do otherwise. When I saw her, I finally figured who I had actually been missing. I didn’t see her all weekend and I was surprised that I actually missed her and her character. She was laughing over something the girl with
Harley’s POVNeither my parents nor Holly was awake when I got home and it was to my favor as I sneaked into my room and straight into the shower. I couldn’t get last night out of my mind, the way Aiden kissed me, the way he touched me or the way he used his tongue on me. I wasn’t embarrassed anymore, maybe it was because I was now in my own house and he wasn’t a meter away from me. I smiled shyly and bit my lip, kissing him was everything I had dreamt it would be and I wonder how I would be dreaming about him from now on.I felt a tingling sensation in between my legs and I rubbed my legs together, trying to feel that same feeling he gave me last night. Heaven, I must have lost it, haven’t I? I finally finished my shower and put on my pajamas, falling on my bed. Aiden’s face dominated my thoughts and I actually blushed myself to sleep along the line.***I woke up to yelling voices outside and frowned. It sounded like Holly, who is she yelling to now? I climbed out of the bed and wen
Aiden’s POVI slowly pushed open my door, I know Holly would be asleep by now. I ended up taking longer than I expected. Turned out it was Pauline that was knocking then and it was because I had a call from my dad. I don’t want to go into details of what we talked about because the more I think of it, the more pissed I become and the last thing I want is to transfer my aggression to the beautiful girl sleeping on my bed.I stood beside the bed and watched her. She was so beautiful as she slept and in as much as I would want to have her in my arms again like I did earlier, I really didn’t want to wake her up. And let’s not forget the reason I left in the first place. Is it really possible that Holly is still a virgin? Like hell? I had noticed it the time I was giving her a head, I had wanted to use my fingers inside her but I couldn’t even pass through. Is Holly really a virgin? But how could she be so tight if she wasn’t?I thought of the day I saw that college kid pick her up, the wa
Harley’s POV“What did he say to you?” Aiden asked, turning to glance at Milo briefly and then back at me.“Since when do you care what others say to me?” I raised an eyebrow, hoping to escape the question with Holly’s haughty attitude.“Since he happens to be my friend, my best friend,” he sat on his chair again and sipped his drink. He opened his mouth like he wanted to add something but paused and then frowned. His frown grew deeper with each passing seconds and I wondered what could be going on in his mind and whatever it was seemed to be affecting him.“What is it?” I asked when I couldn’t take it anymore.Aiden shrugged, “nothing,” he smiled but I could see that the smile was forced. “Want to dance?”“What?” I asked, shocked.“Come on, dance with me,” he placed his drink on the table and took mine as well, placing it on the table before he grabbed my hand and pulled me up. He pulled me to the clustered high school students and the music changed then to a pop and he started danci
I can’t wait to show you off! Did you hear that? He can’t wait to show us off! My subconscious rambled in my mind, technically, he said he can’t wait to show me off, not us. I corrected her and she rolled her eyes at me, duh? I’m you, remember? Oh yeah, that is correct, I often forget that since sh
I put on the last pin on my hair and looked at myself in the mirror, I look beautiful, I know, my brown eyes are clear like a chocolate fondue, speaking from Adrian’s term. I loved that comparison, well, mostly because he was the one that made it. I had gone to my parents room and took my mother’s
In the box in my hand was a pair of silver shoes, I looked up at him in shock and he scratched his head. “I wanted to give you something as a thank you for agreeing to go with me to the dance, even though we had a deal that I will leave you alone for seven days,” he rolled his eyes, and that made m
When I woke up the next day, Adrian was gone, and it was cleaning day for Max, his friends, Christy and I. When we finished, it was around twelve in the afternoon and Christy fixed us brunch and Max friends left after that. I expected Adrian to show up but he didn’t and I guess I have gotten used t
