Chapter eighteen

Elena sat on her bed blinks Ng rapidly trying to clear her head and her mind but she couldn’t make sense of the call she had just received.

“How did Sarah end up sleeping with a stranger”

She muttered and tried to think back to previous night, flashes of last night played in her memory and she remember vaguely Fred telling someone to take Sarah home.

Her eyes became wide and round like a sauce pan the moment she realised what had happened.

“Oh shit”

She said face palming herself.

“what have I cause, if I hadn’t insisted on taking her out to forget about Carl, this wouldn’t be happening”

She said, her index finger on her right hand was at the corner of her mouth as she thought about the whole thing.

Grabbing her phone she dialled Fred’s number but there was no response, she tried it again and this time he picked up the call but even before she could say anything, she heard his strained voice.

“i’ll call you back”

He said and cut the call, Elena felt the hair on her body stand
