Chapter 34 Hadley Alucard raises a brow at my statement and I retreat to my nervous tick and fiddle with my fingers. I hope he doesn’t pick up on the light shake in my body. “I told her that I knew you would want to help us with the information we needed. Chapter 33 Hadley What caught my attention most was his burning red eyes in the dark. The sight terrified me to the bone. This was different from the wolfs, they had a sense of warning and intimidation to them but from this man I only sensed death. “Alucard. It’s me, Zylith.” Zylith said in a strained voice before dropping to the floor in a heap. “The little human?” His voice was smooth and emotionless, with an elegant English accent. Chapter 32 Hadley That night we couldn’t sleep, we probably needed the rest but my stomach wouldn’t allow it, doing constant flips and I considered not going a few times. We dressed warmly and prepared ourselves for the trip as best we could. We dressed warmly and rummaged the closet for any comfortable walking shoes. Chapter 31HadleyAttempting to sneak back into the lounge was a resounding failure. Everyone gave us knowing glances and after passing the mirror above the console table I knew why. My cheeks were flushed and my hair a bit messy. Chapter 29 Hadley After explaining that Zylith was not the love of my life, Cain guided me downstairs to the others and I apologized for my abrupt and very rude exit.
