A gaping hole stared at the faces of my subjects. My canines elongated and I knew my eyes had turned a molten black.
"How could you? How could you let them get so close?" I erupted, slamming my palms on the table as I stood up.
"Your majesty, you know how the youngsters are, as soon as they get a grip on their abilities, it's hard to keep track." One of the men spoke, his head bowed low as he spoke.

Flashback They locked me the loft, it was only me in the room, a small patch of glass allowed me to see what was going on outside. Everyone was fighting; I couldn't tell who was who since they were all in werewolf form. My wolf side had yet to fully develop, it made me vulnerable as I was unable to fight nor could I communicate with other members of my pack.
