I still couldn't believe the words I heard from my father, it was as if the world was falling apart. I went to my room thinking of what to do next. I had nothing in mind to do, but I took my phone to call my mum.

My headache already, I was struggling to get up because of the stress I had passed through. I got up to go and bathe, and I already heard noise coming from the living room.

"Who are those shouting?" I said to myself.

I didn't let the noise distract me, I went to the restroom to take my bath.

I went to my room after bathing and I saw my mum already inside.

"Since I woke you up you just finished bathing, your in-laws are out there waiting for you"

"What? Don't they have a house? Early this morning?"

"Shut-up, what if they hear you?" My mum said in a lower tone.

"That is their business"

"Common, do what you want for do and put on your cloth, if you dad furiously come here, you won't like yourself"

"Okay, just excuse me, I will be there soon" I said and she left.

I put on the cloth and sat down in my room, pressing my phone.

Minutes later, my dad came in.

"What has gone wrong with you Mitchell? Don't you know your fiancee is waiting for you? And you are here pressing the phone, are you sure you are okay?"

"Fiancee? I am sorry dad" I said, and followed him out.

On stepping out of my room, Nathan and I had eye contact, my heart began to race, my heart started beating faster.

I went nearer to them and greeted the family.

"Mitchell, how are you doing?" Nathan asked, pretending everything was fine.

"I am fine" I pretended also.

"Can you see? This is the reason I said they should marry, they have known each other for long, their parents are friends and business partner, they are good match"

"Yes they are, and even before you came here to tell me that, I have thought about it before, that is why I didn't think twice before accepting "

"And why didn't you tell me that?"

"That doesn't matter now, what matter now is that they are getting married soon"

"I have always loved Mitchell since, one day I even told my son to ask her out so I can be sure that Mitchell is coming to the family, after hearing this tell me why I should not be happy" Racheal, Nathan's mother said.

I want it so quick" Alexander, Nathan's father, said.

"Just the way you want it quick, same way my wife and I want it so quick too, nothing is actually delaying us so I think the middle of next month should be okay, there is money and I am not sure if there is anything that should be delaying" My father said.

"Not at all" Racheal added.
