Lucien's POV

My encounter with Zane, although painful was a needed event. There were words that were better said out, especially between brothers.

I tried asking Brielle but she wouldn't let me close. Zane was everywhere around her like a dome. I knew something was up, it all began since I found out she was pregnant. I could feel her anxiety in my chest, it crushed me every moment of the day.

I headed to my study after picking up some files, I bumped into Zane by the stairs on my way down.

"Why are you everywhere?" Zane asked with a fierce tone.

"Can't you like make yourself scarce?"

"I rule one of the independent civilizations of werewolves, I can't be scarce," I shot back with a confused expression.

"You are the beta of the pack, or have you forgotten your responsibility?"

"I can't hear you brother!" He responded loudly as he walked away from me.

"I'm too busy preparing to be a dad. I think you are handling it perfectly,"

I scoffed lightly, ignoring his words and headed to my study. When I touched the knob, I felt a warmth by the door. I could smell the person's flowery fragrance and I knew exactly who it was.

"The last time I heard from you, you were in Avenue Town. What brings you back to the Estate? Don't like that part of town?"

"Maybe I missed you," Angelina replied with her causal flirty tone as she walked up to me and gave me a hug. Her hug extended slightly as she gently caressed my neck and ran her hand through my hair. For a split second, Trivia's face reflected in my mind.

"I really did miss you,"

"What is there to miss Angelina?" I used the question to make my way past her to my desk.

"I have rarely had time for myself,"

"Notice anything different?" She presented herself in a pose.

"Take a look at tell me you notice the change I made,"

I took one glance and I realized why she triggered Trivia's memory, she had looked more like her.

"You cut your hair. Why?" I asked with a calm tone, hiding how creeped out I was.

"I miss my sister. So I thought keeping my hair short like her would help me better," She muttered, leaning slightly closer, close enough to display her cleavages to my face.

I took a step back and that was when I realized that even the dress was Trivia's.

"Angelina," I chuckled softly, masking the awkwardness of the moment.

"What are you doing?"

"What? I missed you and I needed to see you,"

"No!" I exclaimed, trying to keep my mind calm.

"What are you doing? why the hair and the dress?"

"I know you miss her too," She replied, her voice carrying the sad expression that was reflected on her face.

"I do and I just want to feel like her for one day with you. I heard about your mate's news with Zane, and I think it's a good thing,"

"Really?"

"The world had moved on, Lucien. Why are you still holding back?" She asked with a stern look.

"I look exactly like her but you never looked my way. Since our time in college, you never once looked my way. I introduced you to Trivia, but you fell for her,"

"She was my mate," I spoke with a cold look, the discussion was getting on my nerves.

"Yes, you both looked the same but she was unique in my eyes and you are also. You have been a friend, don't ruin it,"

"A friend?" She laughed lightly,

"Will a friend be willing to do this,"

She pulled the rope of the dress and the whole outfit fell off. I realized that she was only wearing a bra underneath. Her nude stood before me and I stared unfazed. My mind, heart and soul were somewhere else, someone else.

"Isn't this like hers?"

"Do you have..." I paused as I watched her take off her bra.

"I want you to see all of me," She muttered as she drew closer to me. Her hand ran through my hair to my neck, feeling my skin as it went down to my chest.

Her motion was accompanied with soft whispers, "You don't have to see me as Angelina, I can be Trivia. I can be who you want, who you deserve,"

For a second, I did as she suggested and my heart raced uncontrollably. I could feel it thumping hard against my chest like a drum. My body became overwhelmed with the same excitement I felt with Trivia and then Brielle, the rush that noone else can match. It's a feeling that felt like I was constantly at my apex point, bringing out the primal urges.

"Enough!" I grabbed her hand furiously, causing her to let out a soft gasp, almost like she enjoyed it.

"Dont lay your hand on me again," I added softly as I squeezed her hands a little tighter to show force.

"Is that how you want to play?" She muttered with a steamy smile. She reached into my pants and pulled out my hard cock. She rubbed it against her slimy vagina, the steamy feeling made me engrossed for a moment.

I grabbed and pulled her in firmly, her legs quickly coiled around me as she kissed my neck in the process. It almost felt right, the nostalgic feeling was killing me, my mind felt at peace imagining that it was Trivia. With Trivia it was less complicated, with Trivia, my mid wasn't swamped and confused like Brielle.

"I want you daddy," She moaned as she gently went down on me, I held her in place as I felt the tip go in.

Staring at Angelina pleasured gaze, my mind flashed with Trivia's face, her smile.

"Can't," I placed Angelina on the sofa.

"I can't do that to her,"

She was shocked by what happened, she laid naked on the sofa as I placed my cock back into my pants.

"Okay then," She muttered as she received her dress that I stretched out to her.

"Get dressed. We don't speak of this to anyone,"

"Alright," She replied.

"You look troubled when you walked in. If you don't want me in that way, maybe I can be of other help to you."

"How?" I asked curiously.

"Tell me what you need help," She replied.

If anyone knew how to get answers, it was Angelina. And I needed answers from Brielle desperately.

Epilogue Third Person's POV “How are you holding up?” Rio asked Brielle after the council of Alpha that was held in the Eclipse pack. Brielle decided not to attend the meeting because it felt like torture to be around people at the time. “Fine, everyday, a new process and new method of looking forward,” She responded with a smile. Rio's face was covered in slash scars that were still healing. “It's been weeks but I can still feel the tension,” he confessed as he laid his back against a post. “Crescent pack has begun a democratic form of leadership that will be overseen by Eclipse and the Blue Moon. As from now on, they will elect their own leaders,” “You know soon, this method will spread across other packs,” I pointed out. “Looking forward to it,” he replied with a grin. “It surely beats being born into a responsibility you didn't ask for,” “True,” Brielle reacted. “Everything is going fine, I'm free but yet I don't feel free,” He walked to her side and exhaled heavily. “

Brielle's POV“You think anger adds to strength, it doesn't,” Chase's wolf said. I was spooked when I heard it speak, it wasn't possible for a wolf to speak but I knew Chase wasn't a normal alpha like the rest. He had his paws in Lucien, crushing him to the floor. Rio and Zane were holding the rest of the alphas back and Angelina stood by the corner. She was the first one to notice me. “Why are you doing this?” I asked him. They were all shocked to see me on my feet. I held the dagger I had pulled out of my back and a sudden relief came over me. “Impossible,” Chase remarked. “You won't just die,” “No!” Angelina roared. Lucien transformed back and hurried to me. His body was scarred with claw marks and slashes. “How? Where? What's going on?” He was surprised to see me. His hands couldn't let go of mine as tears escaped his eyes. “I'm sorry, I should have protected you,” “I'm here now and we have a job to finish,” I said to him as I wiped his tears. “It's strange seeing you cry

Third Person's POV Everything felt cold, her mind sunk into the darkness and gradually got pulled into a strange void. An occurrence that caused her to gasp suddenly and jolt awake. Brielle woke up in a room, on a bed. She looked around in confusion and fright and realized it was her old room, the one back home in Crescent. She had almost forgotten how it was. “How?” She asked herself, looking around again curiously. She tried flashing back to what she remembered last but it felt blank to her. She remembered being stabbed by a lady called Angelina but it felt like a dream to her. “Sweetheart,” someone pushed open the room's door. She cowered backwards when he stepped in. It was like seeing a ghost and he was a ghost. “Brielle, are you okay? You seem frightened, honey? Is it the nightmares again?” “Dad,” she exhaled heavily, her heart thumping against her chest as she drew closer to her father. “How…how is this possible?” “How is what?” Her dad asked with a perplexed look. “I

Lucien's POV “You fight like a little boy,” Chase remarked as he crushed my windpipe with his boot. I was only able to take down two alphas before they brought me down. I could hear Rio grunting from a distance as he fought against the alpha from the north. The man fought like a beast, moved like a predator stalking its prey. He took Rio by surprise, faster than his size. “I never liked you, Lucien. I told your sister that you are nothing to me and she tried to make your existence somewhat meaningful,” He spoke with pride in his voice as he applied more force on the boot that was against my throat. “Y…you are going to die for that,” I wheezed. The air in my lungs slowly went out but I knew I had to keep fighting, I had to keep Brielle safe, I had to keep my brother safe. It was my responsibility. “I would love to s__” That was the point of his sentence that I heard. My eyes became instantly filled with a buzzing sound that disoriented my entire system. My hands shivered tremendo

Brielle's POV“Where are they?” I asked her. She stood still and slowly, the darkness around began to clear up. It was sucked into a vortex above. That was when I realized that I was in a room with chains and weapons around. “Brielle,* Zane called out behind me. I ran into his arms as he stood by the edge of the room with the Priestess. “How did you get in here?” The priestess asked. “She heard the voices,” Suzie responded as she gently changed into a new pair of shoes. “She could hear the voices of the damned. Maybe because she is part of the damned,” “What is she talking about?” I was curious to know. The look on the priestess face made it scarier to want to know. “Only few people are allowed to hear the other side, listen to what they say, the story they have to say. We call them Whisperers,” The priestess explained as she took a seat next to the fireplace. Her old raggy clothes couldn't hide the fear she felt. “Do you want to tell her?” Suzie referred to the Priestess. “D

Lucien's POV.“I need them here as soon as possible,” I said to the squad leader on the phone. “And General, stay safe,” “Brielle! Damn it!” Rio's voice caught my attention. It was coming from.the dining chambers. I hurried in to meet his hand on her, she was looking almost lifeless. “Rio!” I growled and pulled him away from her. “What the fuck did you do to her?” I held her hand and it was cold as ice. She was mumbling words that I couldn't understand, saying them on repeat as she was glued to the spot she stood. I couldn't move her, it was like moving an unmovable pillar. “She's sucked into wherever they are,” Rio replied as he examined her beside me. “I saw her got called by it. She was drawn to it, they wanted her in there,” “Who is they? You keep saying they, I didn't even know who THEY are,” I retorted. I was falling deeper into the confusion with each glance. I had no idea what to do because both my brother and the priestess that could help were both trapped in wherever
