Brielle’s POV

“Do you know what a pink wolfsbane do to our kind?” he asked as he concocted a pink elixir in a bottle.

I passed out after he choked the air out of me and I woke up in a bedroom with my hands tied to the bed.

“Rio? What are you doing?” I looked around in fright because I already had an idea of what he was about to do.

“You know, growing up I was seen as a menace. A mess that affects everything in his path but that’s not it,” the way he spoke and walked around like a psychopath had my heartbeat hard against my chest.

He leaned over, sniffing my face with drools dripping out from his mouth, “I am not a psycho, just misunderstood. No one ever tries to understand me,”

“Rio, whatever you think you are doing is wrong. Okay? Its all wrong and you know it,”

“Wrong, right, good, bad, black, white. Those are all human’s way of thinking and we are not humans, we are creatures that surpasses the imagination.” He said as he looked me in the eyes.

With a deep sigh, he pried open my mouth with a smile on his face and poured in the pink liquid in his hand. I fought hard to get him off me, but he wouldn’t budge. His grip around my neck was firm and the more I moved, the more difficult it was for me to breathe.

I tried very hard not to swallow but his fingers on my tongue made it difficult for me as some of the liquid made its way into my body. I attempted to bite off the finger, but the skin was too hard for me to cut through.

“You lunatic!” I spat some of it back on his face and he erupted into laughter.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?!”

He sat down beside me like he was waiting for something and just then did I feel my heart rate accelerating like my body was going into overdrive.

“What did you to me?”

“Do to you? The elixir is just stirring your sexual hormones that are already there,” answered the lunatic with a smile. My head began to swirl as I watched him lean on me and gave me a kiss. I couldn’t push him off, I neither had the strength nor the will.

Every touch was enhanced causing a thrilling sensation to envelop my entire body. I felt his hands between my thighs and slowly approached my vulva.

“Do you like this?” he asked with a cold voice that sent chills through me. “What about this?” This time his hands had began playing with my clit as he made an awed expression.

I was disgusted by every touch but I couldn’t deny the feeling as it made waves of pleasure wash over me.

“You are already wet, you slut!” he cussed as he went ahead to bring out his d**k. I could feel the tip playing at the surface making my eyes widen in shock as he hovered over me with his huge body.

“Get off me!” I yelled at the top of my voice in anger and frustration. What I despise than been treated like an instrument was been tied up. And when I yelled, some of my despair came out in my voice and at that moment, I felt a sudden relief within me like I was about to be rescued. I didn’t know how, but I could sense it.

“You can scream as loud as you want,” he said as he moved his waist slowly, with just the tip inside of me, teasing me. I bit my tongue to hold back the lewd moans that were about to escape my lips.

“You can let it out if you want, at least that would give me the impression that I am doing a wonderful job,” A voiced with a smile on his face.

“If you do this, there is no going back. No forgiveness and I am going to make my first promise to you,” I said to him with a stern look and with anger. “I will hunt you down like a pig and I would do everything in power to gut you open,”

I threatened him; a man that I was at his mercy with his dick at the entrance and with just one little move, he is deep into me.

“Wow!” He exclaimed, laughing hysterically at the top of his voice.

“You are a feisty one,” he added as he pulled out of me. Smacking his lips and staring down at m with his dick in my face.

“I love feisty girls and the one good thing about them is the sex, not the p**sy sex, I am talking about the anal,”

“What?!” I growled as he turned me over and arched me around.

“That feistiness will make you fight me. And the harder it is to get in, the better it gets,” he growled like a maniac as he placed a finger in my ass.

“Don’t be afraid to moan if…”

He was cut short with a plank to his face that sent him flying to the other side of the room. I turned around to Zane in front of me and Lucien holding a plank in his hand.

“Are you okay?” Zane asked as he helped untie me from the bed.

“He gave me a pink elixir to drink,” I said weakly. I noticed the anger in their faces as soon as I said those words.

“Pink wolfsbane?!” Zane growled and before I could react, he charged at Rio who stood naked with a smile.

Every punch Zane threw was dodged and every move was blocked. It was like Rio knew exactly what move he was going to make.

“How is he doing that?” I asked, leaning on Lucien who watched the fight with a shocked look. I could hardly stand, and my legs were getting weaker with every passing second.

“Zane!” Lucien called him back. Zane returned angrily as Rio stood, staring at us with a smile.

“Why did you call me back?!” Zane growled angrily at his brother, staring at him with hate in his eyes.

“If you guys are going to fight, do it outside my pack,” Rio said with a sinister smile as he picked his trousers from the pack. “And you shouldn’t be angry at your bother Prince Zane, he just saved your life,”

“What are you talking about?” Zane asked the question that was on my mind too.

“He has magic, that was how he was able to detect your moves. And why we couldn’t track Brielle until we heard her scream,” Lucien responded as he placed the plank down.

“I don’t care if he has the power of a god, he dies!” Zane revolted angrily. “He didn’t just try to rape her, he might have just killed her child,”

I never knew I could that much pain, pain that wasn’t physical but hurt like I was been burnt in hell. The child was the only thing keeping me going, and I just might have lost it.

With tears, I approached Rio , gazing at him as he smiled hysterically as I drew closer.

“You might have just taken away the last chip of my soul,” I said to him with despair.

“And what can you do about it?” he asked.

“Lucien, this woman bears the mark of an Alpha that isn’t you. So you have no right in my lands, get out before I am forced to have your head,”

Lucien was silent, his face void of emotion as he walked out of the room.

“Brielle, lets go,” Zane took me in his arm and followed behind Lucien, as I watched Rio wave at us with a smile.

“Remember my promise,” I whispered and from the change of looks on his face, I was sure he heard me.

Lucien's POV“What the hell is going on here?” I asked , my voice conveyed how fast my patience was drifting. I have the chance to avenge Trivia and I wasn't going to waste it, even if the culprit shared the same DNA with her. “Mummy, is this brother bothering you?” The little girl asked , her look for more intimidating by the second. Suddenly an image flashes in my head and I recall where I knew her from. The image was from a memory of playing hide and seek with the little girl in front of me. And that was over two decades ago. “Cut the crap, Suzie!” I growled angrily. I walked to Angelina's bedside because I already knew what her presence meant. Chase was in the building and I wasn't going to let anyone stand before me and my revenge. The blank face on Angelina was intoxicating. She was still keeping up with appearances even after realizing that she was busted. “You know who I am, brother?” She asked, advancing slowly. Her eyes glowing red and her aura getting despicable as she

Lucien's POV “Why did you get out of your room?” I helped her lay back down. Her hands were cold as ice as she shivered uncontrollably. “It seems like you are coming up with a fever. It might be your body reacting to the silver that was once in it,” “Nice,” she scoffed. “An alpha and a caregiver, you are full of surprises. I wonder what else you have in store,” She added with a smile that lightened the mood. “That's pretty much all the gifts I have. And why did you even step out of your room?” “I heard how chaotic it was, so I decided to check it out,” She answered softly. There was no fire in her, it was like she had lost her purpose, her hope. “Rest,” I patted her down. I looked around the room, trying to avoid direct eye contact because of the allegations that I couldn't shake off my mind. I wondered what if, just if they were right. I couldn't tell, I couldn't assume that my oldest friend, the twin of my beloved, would murder her sister. I stepped out after tucking her in,

Zane was restrained to a bed, the look he had scared me at first glance. “What is wrong with you?” “Alpha,” A doctor stopped Lucien from moving further. “Your brother appears to be suffering some sort of mental breakdown. So if you don't mind, we will need you to take it easy on him,” “Breakdown?” Lucien reacted. “What's happening to my brother?” He asked the doctors. Their faces explained enough that they had no idea what was wrong with him. “Zane,” I called out softly. He responded to my voice by turning his gaze to me, his eyes were blood red and teary. It carried a mix of emotions that I couldn't describe. Pain, anger, fear, sadness. All of them bubbled inside of him and it hurt me to see him like that. “Just give us time to work,” The doctor ushered us to the waiting room. Lucien was unsettled, looking over his shoulders to his brother. I could feel how worried he was and it was an overwhelmin

Lucien's POV She wouldn't leave his side, his blood all over her outfit as they bagged up the body and placed it in the ambulance. The loud siren sound filled the area and the abandoned company and woods were marked as a crime scene. Since the incident, Zane has been nowhere to be found.Forensics and detectives filled the area soon enough. I was proud that they were using the budget allocated for great use. The law enforcement department took the highest budget that year. A necessary upgrade to ensure peace during this Chase fiasco. “You might want to see this, Alpha,” The Inspector said to me as I waited outside the crime scene. I hesitated to follow her into the warehouse. I didn't want to leave Brielle in such a condition. She still looked shaken, her hands shivered in the blanket and I could feel her fear through our mate bond. “Do I have to come along?” I replied. “The evidence unit is yet to bag them, so it's best you come see them now because they can't be moved,” She said

Lucien's POV “Where is she?” No one could answer my question. Law enforcement had begun going through security footage and interrogating hospital personnel and staff. “I'm sorry brother,” Zane approached me. “I should have known something was wrong. I thought maybe she needed space and I didn't see what was coming next,” I exhaled deeply, letting out the frustration through my breath. “No, it's no one's fault. We are going to get her back,” “Chase might already have her,” He stated the fear that was clearly on both our minds. I suspected it might be him but I remained optimistic, hoping for the best.“Then I will get her back,” I responded. My expression was as cold as the chills that ran through my veins. “I don't care about who but I am certain that I'm not going to let her be anyone's captive. Are you, brother?”The anger in his eyes was visible and he was still going through a lot of pain from his injuries. But that wouldn't stop him, “I will die before I let anything ha

I am the one helping alright,” “Just let me go please,” “Stop begging!” He thundered angrily. Stretched out his hands, trying to reach me. “I didn't kidnap you, I just needed to show you the evidence I had gathered so far. Come,” He beckoned on me, I drew closer cautiously. Trying to hide the fear that was tearing through my heart. “This is what I'm talking about,” He pulled out a photo that had some sides worn out.
