Brielle’s POV
“Do you know what a pink wolfsbane do to our kind?” he asked as he concocted a pink elixir in a bottle. I passed out after he choked the air out of me and I woke up in a bedroom with my hands tied to the bed. “Rio? What are you doing?” I looked around in fright because I already had an idea of what he was about to do. “You know, growing up I was seen as a menace. A mess that affects everything in his path but that’s not it,” the way he spoke and walked around like a psychopath had my heartbeat hard against my chest. He leaned over, sniffing my face with drools dripping out from his mouth, “I am not a psycho, just misunderstood. No one ever tries to understand me,” “Rio, whatever you think you are doing is wrong. Okay? Its all wrong and you know it,” “Wrong, right, good, bad, black, white. Those are all human’s way of thinking and we are not humans, we are creatures that surpasses the imagination.” He said as he looked me in the eyes. With a deep sigh, he pried open my mouth with a smile on his face and poured in the pink liquid in his hand. I fought hard to get him off me, but he wouldn’t budge. His grip around my neck was firm and the more I moved, the more difficult it was for me to breathe. I tried very hard not to swallow but his fingers on my tongue made it difficult for me as some of the liquid made its way into my body. I attempted to bite off the finger, but the skin was too hard for me to cut through. “You lunatic!” I spat some of it back on his face and he erupted into laughter. “What the fuck is wrong with you?!” He sat down beside me like he was waiting for something and just then did I feel my heart rate accelerating like my body was going into overdrive. “What did you to me?” “Do to you? The elixir is just stirring your sexual hormones that are already there,” answered the lunatic with a smile. My head began to swirl as I watched him lean on me and gave me a kiss. I couldn’t push him off, I neither had the strength nor the will. Every touch was enhanced causing a thrilling sensation to envelop my entire body. I felt his hands between my thighs and slowly approached my vulva. “Do you like this?” he asked with a cold voice that sent chills through me. “What about this?” This time his hands had began playing with my clit as he made an awed expression. I was disgusted by every touch but I couldn’t deny the feeling as it made waves of pleasure wash over me. “You are already wet, you slut!” he cussed as he went ahead to bring out his d**k. I could feel the tip playing at the surface making my eyes widen in shock as he hovered over me with his huge body. “Get off me!” I yelled at the top of my voice in anger and frustration. What I despise than been treated like an instrument was been tied up. And when I yelled, some of my despair came out in my voice and at that moment, I felt a sudden relief within me like I was about to be rescued. I didn’t know how, but I could sense it. “You can scream as loud as you want,” he said as he moved his waist slowly, with just the tip inside of me, teasing me. I bit my tongue to hold back the lewd moans that were about to escape my lips. “You can let it out if you want, at least that would give me the impression that I am doing a wonderful job,” A voiced with a smile on his face. “If you do this, there is no going back. No forgiveness and I am going to make my first promise to you,” I said to him with a stern look and with anger. “I will hunt you down like a pig and I would do everything in power to gut you open,” I threatened him; a man that I was at his mercy with his dick at the entrance and with just one little move, he is deep into me. “Wow!” He exclaimed, laughing hysterically at the top of his voice. “You are a feisty one,” he added as he pulled out of me. Smacking his lips and staring down at m with his dick in my face. “I love feisty girls and the one good thing about them is the sex, not the p**sy sex, I am talking about the anal,” “What?!” I growled as he turned me over and arched me around. “That feistiness will make you fight me. And the harder it is to get in, the better it gets,” he growled like a maniac as he placed a finger in my ass. “Don’t be afraid to moan if…” He was cut short with a plank to his face that sent him flying to the other side of the room. I turned around to Zane in front of me and Lucien holding a plank in his hand. “Are you okay?” Zane asked as he helped untie me from the bed. “He gave me a pink elixir to drink,” I said weakly. I noticed the anger in their faces as soon as I said those words. “Pink wolfsbane?!” Zane growled and before I could react, he charged at Rio who stood naked with a smile. Every punch Zane threw was dodged and every move was blocked. It was like Rio knew exactly what move he was going to make. “How is he doing that?” I asked, leaning on Lucien who watched the fight with a shocked look. I could hardly stand, and my legs were getting weaker with every passing second. “Zane!” Lucien called him back. Zane returned angrily as Rio stood, staring at us with a smile. “Why did you call me back?!” Zane growled angrily at his brother, staring at him with hate in his eyes. “If you guys are going to fight, do it outside my pack,” Rio said with a sinister smile as he picked his trousers from the pack. “And you shouldn’t be angry at your bother Prince Zane, he just saved your life,” “What are you talking about?” Zane asked the question that was on my mind too. “He has magic, that was how he was able to detect your moves. And why we couldn’t track Brielle until we heard her scream,” Lucien responded as he placed the plank down. “I don’t care if he has the power of a god, he dies!” Zane revolted angrily. “He didn’t just try to rape her, he might have just killed her child,” I never knew I could that much pain, pain that wasn’t physical but hurt like I was been burnt in hell. The child was the only thing keeping me going, and I just might have lost it. With tears, I approached Rio , gazing at him as he smiled hysterically as I drew closer. “You might have just taken away the last chip of my soul,” I said to him with despair. “And what can you do about it?” he asked. “Lucien, this woman bears the mark of an Alpha that isn’t you. So you have no right in my lands, get out before I am forced to have your head,” Lucien was silent, his face void of emotion as he walked out of the room. “Brielle, lets go,” Zane took me in his arm and followed behind Lucien, as I watched Rio wave at us with a smile. “Remember my promise,” I whispered and from the change of looks on his face, I was sure he heard me.Epilogue Third Person's POV “How are you holding up?” Rio asked Brielle after the council of Alpha that was held in the Eclipse pack. Brielle decided not to attend the meeting because it felt like torture to be around people at the time. “Fine, everyday, a new process and new method of looking forward,” She responded with a smile. Rio's face was covered in slash scars that were still healing. “It's been weeks but I can still feel the tension,” he confessed as he laid his back against a post. “Crescent pack has begun a democratic form of leadership that will be overseen by Eclipse and the Blue Moon. As from now on, they will elect their own leaders,” “You know soon, this method will spread across other packs,” I pointed out. “Looking forward to it,” he replied with a grin. “It surely beats being born into a responsibility you didn't ask for,” “True,” Brielle reacted. “Everything is going fine, I'm free but yet I don't feel free,” He walked to her side and exhaled heavily. “
Brielle's POV“You think anger adds to strength, it doesn't,” Chase's wolf said. I was spooked when I heard it speak, it wasn't possible for a wolf to speak but I knew Chase wasn't a normal alpha like the rest. He had his paws in Lucien, crushing him to the floor. Rio and Zane were holding the rest of the alphas back and Angelina stood by the corner. She was the first one to notice me. “Why are you doing this?” I asked him. They were all shocked to see me on my feet. I held the dagger I had pulled out of my back and a sudden relief came over me. “Impossible,” Chase remarked. “You won't just die,” “No!” Angelina roared. Lucien transformed back and hurried to me. His body was scarred with claw marks and slashes. “How? Where? What's going on?” He was surprised to see me. His hands couldn't let go of mine as tears escaped his eyes. “I'm sorry, I should have protected you,” “I'm here now and we have a job to finish,” I said to him as I wiped his tears. “It's strange seeing you cry
Third Person's POV Everything felt cold, her mind sunk into the darkness and gradually got pulled into a strange void. An occurrence that caused her to gasp suddenly and jolt awake. Brielle woke up in a room, on a bed. She looked around in confusion and fright and realized it was her old room, the one back home in Crescent. She had almost forgotten how it was. “How?” She asked herself, looking around again curiously. She tried flashing back to what she remembered last but it felt blank to her. She remembered being stabbed by a lady called Angelina but it felt like a dream to her. “Sweetheart,” someone pushed open the room's door. She cowered backwards when he stepped in. It was like seeing a ghost and he was a ghost. “Brielle, are you okay? You seem frightened, honey? Is it the nightmares again?” “Dad,” she exhaled heavily, her heart thumping against her chest as she drew closer to her father. “How…how is this possible?” “How is what?” Her dad asked with a perplexed look. “I
Lucien's POV “You fight like a little boy,” Chase remarked as he crushed my windpipe with his boot. I was only able to take down two alphas before they brought me down. I could hear Rio grunting from a distance as he fought against the alpha from the north. The man fought like a beast, moved like a predator stalking its prey. He took Rio by surprise, faster than his size. “I never liked you, Lucien. I told your sister that you are nothing to me and she tried to make your existence somewhat meaningful,” He spoke with pride in his voice as he applied more force on the boot that was against my throat. “Y…you are going to die for that,” I wheezed. The air in my lungs slowly went out but I knew I had to keep fighting, I had to keep Brielle safe, I had to keep my brother safe. It was my responsibility. “I would love to s__” That was the point of his sentence that I heard. My eyes became instantly filled with a buzzing sound that disoriented my entire system. My hands shivered tremendo
Brielle's POV“Where are they?” I asked her. She stood still and slowly, the darkness around began to clear up. It was sucked into a vortex above. That was when I realized that I was in a room with chains and weapons around. “Brielle,* Zane called out behind me. I ran into his arms as he stood by the edge of the room with the Priestess. “How did you get in here?” The priestess asked. “She heard the voices,” Suzie responded as she gently changed into a new pair of shoes. “She could hear the voices of the damned. Maybe because she is part of the damned,” “What is she talking about?” I was curious to know. The look on the priestess face made it scarier to want to know. “Only few people are allowed to hear the other side, listen to what they say, the story they have to say. We call them Whisperers,” The priestess explained as she took a seat next to the fireplace. Her old raggy clothes couldn't hide the fear she felt. “Do you want to tell her?” Suzie referred to the Priestess. “D
Lucien's POV.“I need them here as soon as possible,” I said to the squad leader on the phone. “And General, stay safe,” “Brielle! Damn it!” Rio's voice caught my attention. It was coming from.the dining chambers. I hurried in to meet his hand on her, she was looking almost lifeless. “Rio!” I growled and pulled him away from her. “What the fuck did you do to her?” I held her hand and it was cold as ice. She was mumbling words that I couldn't understand, saying them on repeat as she was glued to the spot she stood. I couldn't move her, it was like moving an unmovable pillar. “She's sucked into wherever they are,” Rio replied as he examined her beside me. “I saw her got called by it. She was drawn to it, they wanted her in there,” “Who is they? You keep saying they, I didn't even know who THEY are,” I retorted. I was falling deeper into the confusion with each glance. I had no idea what to do because both my brother and the priestess that could help were both trapped in wherever
