The next day, when we had had enough talk and happy moments, Amanda wasn’t worried about her husband’s lost job. She said, “God knows the best,” she would smile after spewing out those words.

Her husband was busy having a talk with the kids on the balcony and laughs and giggles were only heard. They were a very great family, I guessed.

“Do you work?” she asked me.

“Yeah, I work as a maid,” I whispered at the back of my voice and grinned.

She did seem surprised, it seemed alright for her, and didn’t want to continue with that.

Soon, we heard someone pounding at the door, “Are you expecting someone, sweetheart?” she asked her husband who was seriously playing with his kids and running after them.

“No!! I am not.” Suddenly, her face changed as she walked up to the door to check on the person, “is everything alright, dear?” Jackson asked when he heard nothing again. He came around the sitting room and took a quick peep at the person who knocked.
