Chapter 8

I throttled the engine to catch up with Jade, blaring a song we both like "Static Age" by Green Day, and when I did I played air guitar while riding my motorcycle kind of like a surfboard. Continuing down the road I passed Alex and for a second it looked like she was worried about me, I caught up to Jack and jumped onto the top of his truck, playing my real guitar along to the song, and from inside the truck, I heard Jack singing along. After a bit of doing that the song was over and I changed it to another song and plugged in my headphones, I wanted to have more fun, so I willed my bike over and jumped onto it, and started riding towards a mountain that was coming up on our right that made the road kind of like a canyon. Riding to the top of it I stopped at the peak of the mountain and took out a pair of binoculars, I saw Alex looking kind of worried and talking to someone over the radio, and I knew it was time.
