Eirlys Lumi,
The soft fabric of lingerie hit the floor, exposing my pale skin in front of the moonlit window as I walked barefoot. The marble floor was cold beneath my feet, the chill creeping up my legs while the pale silver light spilled across my skin. Behind me stood the Alpha of Siverty, a barbaric wolf land. The smell of paint filled the room, thick and sharp, mixing with the faint scent of oil and wood. The rustling sounds of the trees outside moved with the wind, their shadows swaying slowly against the curtains. Somewhere in the hallway, a door shut with a dull sound that echoed faintly through the quiet mansion. "You are here early!" His voice was playful as he grabbed the brush. Today I was the model for his painting. "Yes, My Lord!" I didn't turn, letting the red undergarments define the curve of my back under the moonlight. A cold breeze slipped through the slightly open window and brushed against my bare shoulders, making my skin prickle slightly. He had a smirk on his face. The reflection of him in the window said it all. He walked toward me, the brush twirling around his finger lazily. "I didn't expect to find such a hot woman in this deserted land." His hand brushed my arm, trailing slowly as if he were judging how smooth my skin was. His fingers lingered a little longer than necessary. I remained still, my breathing calm. Then his hand reached the hook of my undergarment, an attempt to get to the point. But before he could even touch the hook, a sharp pin pierced through his neck, straight into his throat. The movement was swift and silent. I turned, the moonlight illuminating my face as the cold wind lifted a few loose strands of my hair. My golden eyes darkened as I finally met his eyes. He froze there, stunned, his mouth wide open. Blood gushed out of his neck with a gurgling sound in his throat, spilling over his fingers as he tried to grab the wound. His eyes trembled in disbelief. "Wh-What...?" His body staggered backward. I pushed him away from me. He crashed onto the floor heavily, his boots scraping weakly against the polished surface. The sound echoed sharply in the quiet room. I grabbed my lingerie and put it on again, my fingers steady. The cold floor felt strangely good beneath my feet as I leaned against the window railing, the moonlight stretching across the blood slowly pooling on the floor. The breeze from outside grew colder, brushing across my skin. "He-Help!" He extended his arm toward me, his fingers trembling as blood continued to spill between them. Instead of answering, I grabbed the water bottle I kept on the floor and drank from it slowly. While my eyes remained on him. Sharp and cold. This was Ross Drake, the notorious Alpha who bought Omegas and poor she-wolves from different packs' black markets and made them his muse for his paintings. After painting them nude, he assaulted them before slitting their throats mercilessly. Three months ago, one of the survivors ran away from him with the evidence. Today, here I was, standing before him, watching his life disappear with the blood spreading across the floor. It was an easy death. Too easy. He didn't deserve such an easy death. But what could I do? I was ordered to finish the job within an hour. Tsk. What a disappointment. After confirming he was dead, and to make sure there was no mistake, I did something graphic to him before walking out of the room. I placed the mask that I had prepared earlier before entering the room and looked at the guard. "Alpha asked me to take a bath. From that fountain. He wants everyone to be gone!" The guards immediately understood that their Alpha had found another kink to experience. A woman with no clothes in the fountain and he would paint her. After all, Ross Drake was an excellent artist. His art pieces were sold for billions among tycoons, Alphas, and even the Lycan King. The guards didn't say anything. They just scanned me in my lingerie and smirked. "This one is super hot. Alpha must be over the moon!" He couldn't stop his inner thoughts from slipping out. I smirked faintly, shoving the pin back into my hair bun. It was the weapon. My favorite one. Barefoot, I stepped out of the huge mansion, the cold wind hitting my skin sharply. Just then, a voice came from behind. "Is it done?" he asked, his voice flat and low. "Yes," I said, my eyes cold. He nodded. "Follow me!" As we headed to the car parked in the corner of the driveway, the sound of people screaming suddenly erupted from inside the mansion. He held out a shirt. "Put it on!" I grabbed the shirt and threw the lingerie onto the ground, leaving the only evidence of my existence here. An Omega slave killed the Alpha and left the lingerie behind. Nothing else. "Head to my house. I have a family dinner to attend!" I said coldly, my attention already stretching beyond the night, back to the family where I was nothing but a neglected oops child that my parents never wanted. "We have another case. Would you like to check?" My assistant, George Bryson, held the device for me. "She has killed almost five women till now, but thanks to her status, she is living her life freely!" I didn't look at the screen. I just curled myself into a ball, snuggling with my plush bunny that my late grandma gave me. "Remind me later. I need some sleep!" "Okay!" It took around six hours of driving and crossing three pack borders before I arrived at the Silverflame Wolf Pack, one of the biggest territories ruled by the strongest Lycan King. My dad was an important member of the council until he had to retire after his health scare. "Meet you at the bakery, George!" I smirked before walking toward the main entrance of our Packhouse. Nothing but a black shirt on me, looking more like a sl*t coming out of a brothel after a long wild night. Well, that was what people thought of Omegas. "Good morning, Young Miss." One of the servants looked at me, scoffed, and walked past me as if I were a plague. "Morning, cutie. Seems like you are having a good life here." I grinned playfully, but it made her face turn pale. I was known as the troublemaker in this house. Although nobody could tolerate me, at least they didn't want to get on my nerves. "Ye-Yes. Thank you, My Lady!" She hurried away, her fingers clutching the edge of her apron. As I walked toward the staircase, my mother's voice came, sharp. "Stop there, Lumi." I froze, my eyes snapping toward the direction of my mother's voice. Not again! I rolled my eyes, turning towards her. As I turned, I found my parents and my sister, Caroline Pearl, sitting in the living room, looking absolutely serious. A knot tightened in my stomach. There was something they needed from me again.Eirlys Lumi, A cold, bone-freezing chill ran down my spine, slow and merciless, as if icy fingers had traced the length of my back. I flinched instinctively, my breath catching in my throat while my heart nearly skipped a beat. The night air around the forest had already been cold, the wind whispering through the tall trees and carrying the damp scent of soil and river water, but the voice that reached me cut through everything like a blade. This was the first time someone's voice had ever made me feel scared. On top of that, his scent drifted through the forest air—heavy, commanding, and thick with authority. It wrapped around me like invisible chains, demanding obedience in a way that made my knees weaken and tremble slightly beneath me. My wolf stirred uneasily inside me, alert and cautious. I hid myself quickly behind the wide trunk of a tree beside a thick bush, pressing my back against the rough bark. Small twigs snapped faintly beneath my shoes as I shifted my weight, but
Eirlys Lumi,Moon lifted her head and released a powerful howl that tore through the silent forest. The sound echoed across the trees, rolling deep into the darkness and bouncing from trunk to trunk. Birds that had been resting in the branches burst into the air in frightened flutters, while small animals hidden in the undergrowth scattered hurriedly through the dry leaves."Let's go," she purred, quickly grabbing my clothes with her jaws before tossing them over her back. We could not risk leaving them behind. Then she ran.The forest rushed past us in a blur of shadows and broken moonlight. Dry leaves cracked sharply beneath her paws while low branches scraped lightly against her fur. The wind had begun to howl more violently now, pushing cold gusts through the trees and rattling the tall pines above us.Moon's white fur shimmered faintly in the darkness as she moved with fluid speed between the trunks, her body gliding through the forest like a pale ghost slipping through the night
As the night stretched on, the meeting for the final preparations finally came to an end. George handed me some baked goods from his wife's bakery to snack on later. I opened the door of my sports car, the metal handle chilled from the sudden drop in temperature. " The wind is weird today!" I whispered, staring at the black cloud gathering in the center of the city.Wrapping my scarf tighter around my neck, I prepared to get inside when I heard the slow, uneven sound of a cane tapping against the pavement.Edward came from behind. He leaned slightly on his cane, pausing as if he needed a moment to steady himself before speaking. The yellow lights of the parking lot reflected faintly on the surface of his car, casting long shadows behind us."Professor Matt called me yesterday!" he said suddenly.I turned toward him. My eyes narrowed instinctively, curiosity and mild suspicion crossing my face."What did he say?"Edward shifted his weight, adjusting his grip on the cane. His expressi
Eirlys Lumi,The silence was so thick that it could be cut by a knife. I froze there, unable to say anything, my fingers slowly curling against my palm whilst George looked like he had seen a ghost. His eyes were slightly widened, his lips parted as if he wanted to speak but couldn't quite find the words. After a moment of silence, I shifted a bit. The faint creak of the leather couch sounded unusually loud in the room, the sharp sound slicing through the suffocating quiet." You are saying—!" I muttered, my brows knitting together as disbelief settled on my face. I leaned forward slightly, staring at him, trying to read his expression. " The Lycan King himself asked me to be his bodyguard?"My Boss nodded his head slowly, the movement deliberate, looking oddly proud as if he had just delivered the most impressive news in the world." You gotta be kidding me!" I scoffed, letting out a breathy laugh that carried no humor. I leaned back against the couch, shaking my head as I dragged a
Eirlys Lumi," We can't send her without knowing how safe it is." My mother's voice broke the daze I was in. " You understand, right? We can't send your sister like this without knowing what happens to the Luna!"So, not only did they believe that His Majesty was dangerous, but they also wanted me to be the scapegoat to understand what happened with the Lunas? In other words, they wanted me to be the sacrifice to make sure Pearl stayed safe.I couldn't breathe, as though I was reliving the cruel childhood where I had to be the one to take all the blame." Why aren't you saying anything? You will help us, right?" My mother's voice was softer now, almost sweeter, closer to the tone she used for Pearl." Why should I?" I replied quietly. " I am not going to be your sacrificial lamb." Saying that, I headed upstairs immediately. My mother's shouting came soon but I didn't turn. They wanted their Omega daughter to be the test subject before they sent their beloved daughter. My wolf urged me
Eirlys Lumi,I sat there, stunned. My eyes widened when realization hit me, the muscles around them tightening before I could stop it. For a brief moment I simply stared at them, unmoving. I shifted slightly in my seat, my fingers curling against the armrest as I suddenly noticed the small crack in my composure. Then a short, controlled and icy laughter escaped from me.The sound was sharp in the quiet room."You are joking, right?" I asked, my voice tight as the last trace of laughter left my throat. My lips were still curved, though the smile didn’t reach my eyes. "You, of all people, want me to take your beloved daughter's place and become the Queen of this territory? The one that you have been dreaming of for your golden child?"I laughed again as I spoke, the sound echoing louder this time. My shoulders trembled slightly with each laugh, my head tilting back a little as if the absurdity of it all was simply too much.I meant, how could I not? Those people, my so-called parents,
