AESPIA POV

I honestly thought that I was going to get punished, stripped off my title and be thrown into a place that I do not know.

I stood in front of him with my head bowed, my eyes would not leave my shoes, I even noticed how bad they looked and cried for a change.

" Raise your head and look at me" I heard his voice.

I raised my head and looked at him, just as he had instructed.

Cara was seated there, looking fine and well. I felt an urge in my heart to speak and let her know that I was aware she was telling a lie all along, but her eyes would not let me speak.

" She should be punished for what she did,"Cara said.

" I am the one who will do whatever I wish to do with her and not you" he turned slightly to her and spoke.

Her face squeezed, angry that the Alpha gets to do what he pleases and not what she wants.

" I want you to leave us alone," he said.

He looked at Cara, waiting for when she was going to step out of the room.

" Why should I? At least I should see how she is being punished, you are not going to let her escape right? She has to pay for it right?" She raised her eyebrows, waiting for answers.

" I do not think you should be interfering or trying to tell me what to do" he fired back at her.

She glared at me before quietly stepping out of the room.

I stood there, unsure of what he wanted to do to me.

He began to take steps towards me, I was frightened by the approach but I never said a word.

When he got closer to me, I moved backwards in fear that he was going to hit me, but that was never the case.

He never raised his hands on me or even tried to, he only came so close to me.

My eyes were closed at this point, even as I tried moving backwards, away from him.

He kept coming close to me till my back touched the wall, there was nowhere else for me to move to. His eyes shone brightly on me, they looked at me, very pretty and inviting.

" What should I do to you?" He asked me in a very cool tone.

Seemed to me like he was not mad at me. His eyes did not look angry.

" I do not know about that, do whatever you wish," I said.

I had something in mind but I dare not say it, I did not want to appear like something was wrong with me or I was asking for too much.

" You have to answer me, you have to say something. I do not like it when I ask you something and you tend to push it towards me" he said.

Oh wait, was he getting upset already?

" I did not mean for you to be upset with me" I said, trying to hide my face away from him.

He withdrew from me but his eyes would not leave my body.

I could swear that I had such a gorgeous looking body and that's why Enzo was always trying to have sex with me, he knew what I had.

" I can be your personal maid for a while," I said,with my head bowed.

Then the words I had just said began to replay in my head,I frowned,why would I go for something like that? Why do I want to suffer?

" Are you sure about that?"

" No" I shook my head.

He came closer to me.

" You can leave," he said.

I was shocked that he would let me go just like that and not try to do anything to me. He did not bother wanting to punish me as well.

But how was I going to leave his presence when he was standing in my way.

" You... you need to leave the way" I said

He moved away and asked that I leave the room.

I rushed out of the room, walking so fast back to mine.

I thought I was going to have a little time to myself but I was wrong, so wrong. I opened the door and there she was.

What?

She had left where Alpha Xyren and I was to be in my room?

" What do you want?" I asked her, obviously feeling so irritated that she was there.

" What punishment did he give to you? I am sure it is something you can not do" she chuckled.

She was being stupid right now and she had no idea, such a shame.

" Nothing, he did nothing to me and he asked that I do nothing too" I said.

She was filled with rage, her hands were tight, so tight that she was ready to get my head off.

" If you do not have something to say to me,please leave, I want to be left alone" I said.

She faced me, so upset that Alpha Xyren did nothing to me.

" You are never going to escape this. Do not think he is going to be around for a long time, when he travels, and it's just you and I in this house, I will get back at you" she said, looking so angry and hurt.

I sighed, I was going to stand up for myself if she tries to be funny.

I watched as she left the room, I quickly rushed to the door and locked it, she was a nuisance and I am never going to be all that soft towards her.

I sat on the bed as I remembered the way Alpha Xyren had come so close to me and how he had his eyes all over me.

He took my breath away, I was sure that Enzo never made me feel the way he made me feel, maybe in the early years of our marriage. But Alpha Xyren made it feel different, I smiled as I thought hard about it.
