AESPIA’S POV

I groaned, my eyes still tightly shut as I slowly regained consciousness. I felt my whole body throb in pain and I couldn't help but squirm around.

I froze when I realized that I was unable to move. My whole body was paralyzed. I tried to wiggle my toes and fingers but I found myself unable to do so. I also noted that my mouth had been gagged so all noise I made came out muffled and low.

Panic gripped me as my heart began to race erratically. I tested out every part of my limb in the darkness but it all bore the same response. I tried prying my eyes open and thankfully, it opened.

It seemed that it was the only part of my body that actually moved. My eyes darted back and forth trying to figure out what the hell was happening and where I was.

My brain felt fuzzy so I was still trying my hardest to figure out how I got here.

My probing was of no use as everywhere around me was dark. I couldn't smell anything nor sense anything around me.

The only thing I could do was wait.

Suddenly, bright light filled the space I was in and I winced and shut my eyes. After a while, I opened my eyes only to realize I was in some sort of room and the light which illuminated a part of the small space came from the doorway.

I also noticed that someone was standing right in the doorway. The person walked forward and I wasn't able to see their face as they had a pig mask on but I was able to identify that they were male from their figure.

The person walked towards me and I wanted so badly to move away but I couldn't because…. You know. Paralysis.

“Huh This bitch is awake.” He sounded slightly suprised as he looked down at me. I wasn't able to look to see past his knees due to my position so I kept darting my eye around as much as I could. “That's quite surprising since the dosage given was quite strong. One would think you would be out until the main event ends. Whatever. Doesn't make it any different.” He shrugged nonchalantly before crouching and putting a duffel bag over my head.

After that, I felt myself being carried up on bridal style and I felt disgust and fear.

The memories had begun to come back now and I could remember everything that happened.

After Enzo had asked that I be collared, It didn't take me being a genius to figure out that he was probably selling me to a brothel or something. I remember protesting but he had then knocked me out after telling me that he didn't need my consent.

Back to the present, I feel myself being placed in a sitting position on what feels like a wooden chair. I could now hear sound from different locations in front of me.

Low chatter and the sounds of cutlery hitting on plates too.

My heart rate was through the roof at this point as different scenarios went through my head. The worse was that I wondered if I had been sold to cannibals?

Were they waiting to cut me up and eat me?

Goddess. I was so terrified.

The fact that Zyon was not here to lend me her strength made me feel even more vulnerable that I was meant to.

It made me want to cry yet again when I thought about how I might never see her again.

Suddenly, the duffel bag was lifted off my head and I winced again as light assaulted my eyes. It took a while to get my bearings but when I did and eventually opened my eyes, I wished I didn't.

Right in front of me were about fifteen to twenty different men and women all seated on different round tables.

Each one of them wore different masks that hid their identity. I noted to my relief that they were eating normal food.

I didn't relax though as I was able to sense that all of them were Alphas as the aura they oozed was making me feel the urge to submit.

If not for the fact that my body wasn't obeying me, I would have trembled in fear.

Meeting all their piercing gazes that seemed to pierce right into me, I looked down fearfully only to gasp in horror through my gag.

I was naked. I was sitting on a stage in a room filled with deadly Alpha's, bound and NAKED.

I screamed in shame, my previous fear forgotten and tears began to slide down my cheeks.

The Alphas seemed to take my pain for amusement as most of them burst into laughter.

I didn't understand what was happening or why I was here. I just wanted to be far away from Enzo and this place. I prayed desperately for the moon goddess to intervene.

“Alphas in the room, I present to you, the next item on our list. It's a premium grade item as you can see.” A male voice suddenly spoke up from beside me and I wanted to disappear badly when I realized that all that introduction was for me. I could only cry my eyes out since I couldn't go anywhere. The “host” didn't seem to care as he continued speaking. “Don't be fooled by the silvery white hair, the product is not old at all.”

The Alphas laughed like they had heard a very funny joke.

Please someone, get me out of here. Goddess. Anyone please.

“She's said to be barren but because she was previously a Luna, she is a high quality item. Imagine getting to have the Luna of a pack. Well ex but who cares right?” The crowd laughed again.

If I didn't realize what was going on, I was a fool. I had heard of this before from some people. It was said that every year, the most powerful Alphas gather to host an event where only the most elite of the elite could be invited.

If you also had the right connections, even if you weren't the best of the best, you could attend. It was said that an auction was being held at the event and that the items being put on display ranged from all sorts of things, so far it had value. Some people used what they auctioned off to gain the favor of higher ranking Alpha's and I guess that is what Enzo is trying to do.

I had heard Enzo celebrating being invited with Dalia a while back and now he had listened to Dalia's advice to use me as an item for the auction.

The thought of ending up sold to a disgusting old vermin who had way too much power than they could handle made me want to puke and it also sent a shiver of fear down my spine.

The event proceeded and the price started from a million dollars and before I knew it, it had skyrocketed to over fifty million dollars.

I had almost gone crazy at this point especially when the host started to do the “last call” to confirm if that was the sale price.

Just when I thought my fate would be sealed to the fat Alpha that had bought me, a husky voice that wasn't all that loud rang out. “150 million dollars.” it made me shiver for some reason.

Almost immediately, the whole venue descended into silence and everyone turned to look at the owner of the voice.

I also followed everyone's line of sight and I gasped through my gag when my eyes landed on the owner of the voice.

Sitting languidly on a chair that was twice in size to that of others right in the center of all the Alphas, the most breathtaking man I had ever seen was looking back at me. His violet eyes perused me as his lips lifted slightly in a playful smirk. He wasn't wearing a mask like the others and he looked like he just came here to sightsee as even his attire was way too casual.

I drew in a breath as I found that his gaze seemed to do something I didn't understand to me.

“Are you not ringing up my order?” He suddenly asked and the host suddenly cleared his throat beside me breaking me out of my reverie. It did the same for the remaining Alphas in the room as they all bowed and looked away.

“Ah! Sorry, your highness. Sold to his highness over there.” The host announced with a shaking voice.

My whole mind shut down almost instantly.

Not from the fact that I had just been sold to someone. No. It was from the fact that I just realized who I was sold to.

There was only one person that was referred to as your highness.

That person was none other than the Alpha of Alphas himself.

The Alpha King.

My brains fried immediately as I realized that I had just been sold off to the Alpha king.
