Elara’s POV

The journey to my room felt like an eternity. Every step Andrew took behind me was careful and steady, as if he intended to walk forever. Meanwhile, all I desired was to hurry to my room and slam the door behind me. My heart raced erratically in my chest, a blend of excitement and anxiety gnawing at me. His words echoed in my head, “I have something to share with you.”

What could he possibly want to discuss that warranted his following me back to my room?

How would the others at the pack house react upon seeing their Alpha accompanying the cursed wolf?

No. I doubt they call me that anymore, thanks to my gallant behavior.

To my surprise, the corridors of the pack house were eerily silent, devoid of the usual lively chatter. Perhaps everyone was still at the health center, or maybe the recent events had hushed them, sending them off to their rooms. Either way, the stillness heightened the discomfort between Andrew and me.

When we arrived at my door, I unlocked it and entere

Elara's POVDarkness. It wasn’t like closing your eyes—it was thicker than that. It had weight. It had sound. Like static buzzing through my skull, trying to tear apart the seams of who I was.I couldn't move. Couldn’t scream. But I could feel everything. The crystal had cracked me open, and Dorian—he was inside my head. The first vision came like a whisper.I was standing in the snow. My hands were bloody, trembling. Across from me, Andrew stood. His eyes were like ice. No warmth. No recognition. Just… cold detachment.“You're a weapon, Elara,” he said flatly. “That's all you’ve ever been.”“No,” I breathed. “That's not real.”He didn’t blink. “You really thought I loved you? Fates, how desperate were you?”I stumbled back, the words cutting through me like blades. My body moved in the vision, but I had no control. My lips trembled.“Please,” I whispered. “Andrew, it’s me.”His jaw clenched. “And that’s the problem.”A loud crack split the air—and suddenly the vision shifted. Now I w

  • The Cursed Luna And Her Ruthless Alpha   Chapter 234

Elara's POVI didn’t expect the room to be this quiet. The torches on the wall burned low, casting eerie shadows across the stone floor. Each step Dorian took echoed off the cold walls, bouncing back at me like a threat. My wrists burned from the cuffs, still raw from earlier struggles. My breath hitched as we entered the chamber. There it was.The Owlshard sat on a raised pedestal, glimmering faintly like it breathed in its own way. That thing—so old, and powerful—it almost didn’t look real. My heartbeat roared in my ears. Every instinct in my body screamed run. But where to? I was trapped in a den of monsters with one leading the pack.Dorian halted a few feet from the pedestal and raised a hand. His enforcers stopped immediately, standing at attention like they’d been carved from stone.Something was wrong. He turned slowly, his smile twisted and patient, like a vulture circling a dying animal. “Before I give you the Owlshard,” he said in that voice of his—low, smooth, a serpent

  • The Cursed Luna And Her Ruthless Alpha   Chapter 233

Andrew’s POVThe crunch of boots against gravel echoed as I moved through the courtyard, the cold morning air biting at my skin. Warriors lined both sides, some sharpening blades, others checking weapons or adjusting armor. Every face was drawn tight with tension, but there was a fire in their eyes. Determination. They knew what we were walking into. And still—they showed up.I didn’t have time to admire their loyalty. My mind was elsewhere.Elara.I hadn’t heard her voice since she was kidnapped. No whispers through the bond. No sense of her emotions. Just silence. The kind of silence that made your chest feel too small to hold your heart. She was out there. With him.And I wasn’t going to let her stay there.I clapped a hand on Greg’s shoulder as I passed. “Get the west flank ready. I want all scouts in position by sunrise.”“You got it,” he said, eyes scanning the tree line.Just then, the main doors of the pack house slammed open. I turned instinctively, my body already tense.Mi

Elara’s POV“You,” I whispered, breathless, the meaning behind his words crashing into me like a blade through my heart. “You were the one behind it all?”Dorian stood tall, calm, like he hadn’t just ripped open every scar I thought had healed. “Yes,” he said, so matter-of-fact it made bile rise in my throat. “You were too trusting. Too emotional. Easy prey.”The room blurred for a second. The stone walls, the flickering torchlight, the distant howl beyond the prison gates—none of it mattered. Just him. Just that face. That smirk.“You son of a—” I lunged. It was instant. I didn’t think. My body moved before my mind could process the rage boiling under my skin. My claws extended as I aimed for his throat, but two enforcers grabbed me mid-air.These sons of bitches.“LET ME GO!” I screamed, struggling like a feral animal.“Restrain her!” Dorian barked, backing away without a scratch. My feet kicked against the stone. I twisted, and snapped, but their grip was iron. One of them had his

Elara’s POVThe cold stone beneath my knees bit into my skin, but I refused to shift or show pain. I’d rather bleed than let Dorian think he’d broken me.“You’ve never been fair,” I spat, my voice echoing through the chamber. “You’ve always been a vindictive asshole. Just like your father.”That's why all this wars had been going on between Grimshade pack and Salientmoon pack. They wanted to win by all means and take over Salientmoon territory even though they had no issue with him or his father. He smiled, lips curling like a snake’s. His enforcers—those silent wolves standing like statues behind him—tensed. One of them, a broad-shouldered man with a scar along his jaw, stepped forward half an inch.I stared him down.“Go ahead,” I said, lifting my chin. “Hit me. It’s the only language cowards like you understand.”But before the man could move, Dorian chuckled. Low and amused, like I was a child having a tantrum.Obviously he was entertained by seeing me on my knees. He always wante

Andrew’s POVI didn’t wait. My breath was like fire in my chest, my muscles tight with rage and desperation. The second I saw the blood on the trees, the crushed earth, and the direction it pointed to, something inside me snapped. It wasn’t fear. It was fury.“Elara…” I whispered, my voice cracking.Michael caught my arm. “Andrew. We need to move. Fast.”“I know.” I shoved my hand through my hair and turned on my heel. “We go back. We’re getting everyone. We’re not doing this half-assed.”Greg jogged up beside me. “What if we lose the trail?”“We won’t,” I said. “I’ll burn every tree in that forest down if I have to. But I’m getting her back.”We ran—me in front, heart pounding like a war drum, the others close behind. The wind lashed at my face, my boots hammering the earth. I didn’t care. My mind only saw her tied, bleeding, afraid. The memory of her laughter, the softness in her eyes when she looked at me, how she fit into my arms like she was made for me—I clung to that like oxy

Andrew's POVI couldn't breathe. Not because the room was stuffy. Not because anyone was shouting. In fact, it was too quiet. The kind of silence that squeezes your chest.I stood there, in the center of my office, with the weight of everything pressing down on me—Elara gone, my mate stolen like she meant nothing. But she meant everything.“I’m going after her,” I said, my voice low, rough, almost unrecognizable to my own ears.Michael, who had been pacing near the window, stopped dead in his tracks. He turned to me, eyes narrowing. “You sure you want to do that now?”“Of course he is,” Lora cut in before I could answer. Her arms were folded, her jaw tight. “Look at him. He’s not gonna sit still while she’s out there.”“I’m not asking for permission.” I looked each of them in the eye. “I’m telling you. Elara’s out there somewhere, and I’m bringing her back.”Greg, who had been leaning against the wall like he always did when he was thinking, pushed off it and came to stand beside me.

  • The Cursed Luna And Her Ruthless Alpha   Chapter 228

Elara’s POVMy breath caught like a hook had caught in my throat. Dorian’s voice echoed again, smooth but deadly. And it was closer this time.“Elara.”Just my name, but it sounded more like a command.I stepped back instinctively, eyes darting to the narrow tunnel my mother had opened behind the wall. My fingers curled around the edge of the stone, heart pounding so hard I thought it might shake loose from my chest. There was no time.“What do I do?” I asked, whisper-urgent, panic rising fast and hot. “What if I can't hold it? What if the Shard—what if it changes me?”Her eyes met mine. Steady and unshaken. She didn’t even blink.“Then you fight it,” she said. “You don’t let it speak for you. Don’t let it twist your wants into its needs. Because it will try.”My lips parted. “But what if I’m not strong enough?”She stepped closer, putting both hands on my face this time. Her thumbs brushed my temples, grounding me. I couldn’t breathe. The room felt too small.“You are,” she said. “Yo

  • The Cursed Luna And Her Ruthless Alpha   Chapter 227

Elara's POVPain hit first.A sharp, biting pain in my skull, like fire behind my eyes. My ears rang, and the world spun sideways as I fought through the fog.I blinked.Darkness again. But this time, I wasn’t in my cell. The floor beneath me wasn’t stone. It was soft. Cushioned.I reached out blindly. My fingers brushed velvet.“Where—”“Don’t speak.”The voice cut clean through my haze. Familiar. Female. Low, but not cruel.I jerked upright, head pounding, and looked around. The room was dim, lit by a single crystal embedded in the ceiling, glowing a muted blue. It wasn’t the dungeons. No chains. No guards.I turned—and there she was.The woman from the vent.My mother. She stood by the far wall, arms crossed, her hair longer now, streaked with gray, but still the same. Her eyes just like mine watched me like I might disappear.“I thought I lost you again,” she said softly.I stared at her, my voice caught somewhere between a scream and a sob.“This isn’t real.”“It is.”“No. You di
