Beneath the Cursed Valley

When Selene opened her eyes, the world was enveloped in silence. It was not a tranquil silence, but one that pressed against her skin — heavy, suffocating, almost sentient.

She found herself on cold ground, her cheek resting on smooth stone that glimmered softly with veins of silver light. Above her, a ceiling of crystal roots and luminescent moss illuminated the cavern in a gentle blue glow. The air vibrated subtly, as if the earth itself had a heartbeat.

For a long time, she was unable to move. Her body felt as if it weighed nothing, her heartbeat slow and distant. Then — a voice.

“Selene…”

Her breath caught in her throat. She turned her head, and there he was — Reven, lying just a few feet away, his chest rising and falling faintly. The light from the cavern danced in his dark hair, and his skin appeared pale, glistening with sweat.

“Reven,” she breathed, crawling toward him. Her hand shook as she pushed his hair back from his forehead. His skin burned wit

The Voice Of Blood The cavern grew eerily quiet. Only the faint resonance of the glowing runes filled the air, pulsing in sync with Selene’s heartbeat. Her breath came rapidly as the crimson eyes watched her from the shadows. For a moment, she was frozen. Then — a voice. Deep. Familiar. Too human to be attributed to the creature lurking in the dark.“Selene…”The sound enveloped her name like a memory — gentle, quivering, steeped in sorrow.Reven tensed beside her, his claws shimmering slightly in the silver glow. “Who’s there?” he shouted, his voice bouncing off the stone walls. No response came. Just the slow, steady thrum of footsteps.Selene’s heart raced. She recognized that voice. It was more than mere familiarity — it resonated in her very blood. When the creature emerged into the light, Selene felt her legs nearly buckling. It wasn’t a monster. Not now.A woman stood before her — or what was left of one. Her form sparkled with an ethereal glow, her hair as pale as ice, her ey

Shadows Over the FortressThe fortress loomed in silence under the fading moon, its stone walls laden with anxiety. Once filled with the shouts and laughter of warriors training through the night, the atmosphere now throbbed with dread. Every noise — the creak of the gates, the whisper of the leaves — seemed magnified, disturbing.Alpha Reven and Luna Selene had been absent for almost a week. No news. No indication. Only the faint vibrations that pulsed through the earth every so often, as if the ground itself was sighing in sorrow.Commander Jorah stood on the edge of the courtyard, the moonlight highlighting the rugged features of his face. His wolf was restless beneath his skin, pacing and snapping at invisible shadows. He had fought alongside Reven for years — witnessed him bleed, rage, and claim victory. Yet, he had never experienced the world altering in his absence.A guard approached quietly, his armor shimmering slightly. “Commander, the southern patrol hasn’t returned.”Jora

The Alpha’s QuestReven stirred awake to a chill in the air and an absence of sound.Initially, he believed it was still nighttime — the moonlight casting a faint glow through the window, the shadows long and still. However, as he extended his hand to the opposite side of the bed, he encountered nothing but cold sheets.“Selene?” he called in a whisper. No reply.A tightness gripped his chest. He sat up, surveying the room. Her shawl was missing. The window was slightly ajar. A trace of her scent hung in the air — a mix of wildflowers and smoke. Panic surged in his gut.He swung his legs off the bed and stood, disregarding the sharp ache in his still-healing shoulder. Something deep inside told him this wasn’t merely a stroll outside. She was truly gone.“Damn it,” he muttered under his breath, grabbing his cloak and sword. As he stepped into the main hall, the guards were already on high alert. One of them — a young warrior named Aiden — stiffened upon seeing his Alpha. “Sir?”“Where

The Shadow ValleyAs Selene stepped across the unseen threshold into the Shadow Valley, the atmosphere shifted. It became chillier and denser — infused with the metallic scent of rain mixed with ash. The mist curled around her legs like a sentient vapor, murmuring in tones that were not quite words but carried the burden of age-old grief. The woods in this place were unlike anything she had witnessed before. The trees twisted unnaturally, their limbs bereft of leaves and blackened, yet somehow they seemed to pulse faintly — as if silver light coursed through their bark like lifeblood. Each of her footsteps resonated quietly, though the ground was carpeted in moss.Grasping the silver pendant Elder Mira had entrusted to her, Selene uttered a soft prayer. “Guide me, moon above… let my light not dim.”The pendant brightened momentarily, reacting with a gentle glow that matched the rhythm of her heartbeat. The illumination pierced through the shadows ahead, revealing a narrow path that le

Secrets in the ShadowsSleep evaded her.The pack house was still, save for the distant wail of a lone wolf resonating through the valley. Selene sat by the window, her knees pulled to her chest, gazing at the low-hanging, pale moon that seemed watchful. Its glow felt more oppressive tonight, almost sentient — as if it could perceive her innermost thoughts.Reven lay on the bed behind her, finally asleep after Elder Mira's visit. He appeared serene, but Selene understood better. His fingers still twitched during his slumber, and his breaths were uneven. The weight of the Elder’s words loomed over them both.A sacrifice. His life or his strength.Selene's stomach twisted. She couldn’t permit that. Not after everything they had battled for — not after all the bloodshed that had united them.Quietly, she rose, draping a shawl around her shoulders. She aimed to avoid disturbing him. The moonlight illuminated her steps as she slipped from the room and into the dim corridor.Downstairs, the
