"Welcome to my home." A sudden masculine voice boomed through the room as the lights from overhead flooded whiteness. "How good of you to join me," James said, coming into view. James carried Cammie's body as he walked toward a metal desk.
"Cammie!" Oshey exclaimed, rushing forward. Quinn and Noah reached out to grab Oshey, preventing her from going further.
The tall man looked between Oshey and the girl in his arms. "Cammie? Oh, you mean Macille." James said. He looked down at the girl in his arms again with a smile. "How nice of you to keep her safe for me." James kissed her forehead tenderly.
