Chapter XIX - Bestfriends

Serra's POV

I don't know what I was doing but it felt so familiar. His lips on mine were the softest that could brush mine. Why? Why does this feel like home?

Regaining my senses was hard to do when I, myself, felt like I had missed this. I needed this. No matter if I was doing it right or not, I wanted its warmth so I returned his kisses. Until we ran out of breath and we stopped, resting our forehead on each other while his hand was still on my cheek.

The moment I gaze into his soft eyes, he took a step back and I finally processed what we did. My cheeks were still burning so I looked away. Why did I do that?

"I-I..."

What do I say? Should I run from him? Should he say something?

"Go tend your pet before I lose my mind and take you to my bed," he uttered.

With those words, I immediately turned and stride inside. I didn't look back nor slow down until I reached a corner and hid. My legs were weak and so I dramatically fell on my knees.
