Chapter XX - Recollection

Serra's POV

The way Zierux treated me is the same as always. It was as if that kiss never happened and he's back to teaching me magic. Though it's better like this, I can't help but wonder what he's feeling.

"You're not focused enough, human. You're creating wools instead of gems," Zierux commented, his face remaining blank. "Focus so we proceed to another task. We've other things to do."

"Like what? Do you have somewhere to be?" I asked with a raised brow.

"Since when were you curious about my whereabouts?"

"Since now." I gaze at him, arrogantly. "I dare to know of my future husband's meetings. I would appreciate it if you let me have a say in decision making."

Zierux chuckles mockingly.

"The spell you casted doesn't go beyond being someone I can't kill."
