Shane’s scream could be heard throughout the room when Audrey’s palm landed on his head. She was so pissed when the man actually thought that it was she who might have stolen and hidden the documents.
‘I love you but I’m not that selfish to keep you by my side when you’re in love with someone else. So letting you go was always an option to consider,’ she thought to herself.
“Why did you hit me? I was simply asking if it was you,” Shane rubbed his head and was quick to distance himself from her.
Audrey glared at her. “Are you an idiot? Why would I hide them when I’m the one who gave it to you for your signature? Tsk! So annoying,” she said as she faced her back at him.

When 5:00 o'clock in the morning flashed in the digital clock on her bedside table, she pulled herself up to sit as she slowly rubbed her eyes while yawning. The radiant sun was once again exhibiting its power, casting its light in most parts of the world- illuminating the day and at the same time, providing its warmth to every living or dead creatures on earth.
