“At least you had a family who loved you. My parents wanted me dead the day I was born because of my gender but they couldn’t. They favored my brother too much. My achievements were never anything to be proud of for them. I love them though. They are my family after all. How can I hate them?” I smiled at him sarcastically and continued.

“They controlled everything in my life to make my life miserable for me. From my career to the friends I made. They told me that I was unwanted every single opportunity they got.
