Chapter 10- Evelyn

The fresh air felt good on my skin and ruffled my hair. The back yard had a few foot of tree free ground with a few inches of grass growing. The forest started where the yard ended. No fence. Well these people being part wolf, this must come in handy.

It is nice outside. We sat with our backs to a tree trunk by the edge of the forest, facing the house. For a while he didn’t say anything.

“So…” I started.

He looked uncomfortable to talk about what he wanted to tell me. What can be that horrifying that he was hesitating so much? He started talking, hesitating a little.

“I will start from the beginning so you will get a general idea about our kind. We are werewolf as you already know. We can shift into wolves whenever we want. Every werewolf has a soul mate. We can recognize our mate from our twenty first birthday. Some find them on their birthday itself, some till they turn twenty five or some never find them. I haven’t found mine either but I am still
