About Him

I yawn when I’ve finally reached the end of the book. I’m done, I think to myself. I turn and look at Cain. He’s still sleeping. I raise my right hand which he’s still holding on to tightly. I smile when I look at our hands are together. After a while, I put our hands down.

I wonder what time it is, I think to myself. I take out my phone from my bag. It is six. I’m starving. I think I’ll wake him now. I take a deep breath before I wake him. It’s hard to face him when he’s not wearing his hood. His face always makes my heart races. When I’ve settled, I touch his shoulder.

“Cain?” I call. I forget he’s hard to be awakened. I shake him a little.

“Cain!” I raise my voice a little. He moves his shoulders. Finally. He lifts his head and takes down his hood. He rubs his eyes and then looks at me. I smile and tidy his hair. Wow. His hair is so smooth, I think to myself.
