Chapter Sixty-nine

“Kill me. End this.” Magdalena pleaded, unable to stand much more. 

“Hmmmm…. No. You’ll die soon anyway. I’m quite certain that you never once cared about who you hurt. Why should I care about you?” Margo growled, sawing the knife back and forth in an upward motion. 

“Please.” She whispered, pleading for mercy. 

“Did you have mercy on your victims? Did you make their death quick and painless?” She demanded, yanking her head backwards painfully. 

“No.” Magdalena whispered, as tears trailed down her cheeks. “Bernard was right about one thing though.” 

“What was that?” Margo whispered.
