INICIAR SESIÓNRADA’S POV
I’ve heard one insult after another from them far too often. It feels like it’s become a daily routine. In fact, the pain in my heart has suddenly dulled because they’ve hurled those cruel words at me so often.
I chose to ignore it. I walked slowly toward the corner of the kitchen, waiting for them to finish eating first. Otherwise, they’d fly into a rage. They always said they were disgusted at the thought of eating while seeing me sitting right next to them—as if I were a deadly virus capable of spreading disease.
I stood alone in the far corner of the room, running my fingers over my dull, worn-out clothes, then leaning my back against the cold wall in silent stillness.
The sound of their laughter rang loudly in my ears. They were busy discussing Ines’s beauty, extolling how Ines was sure to become a famous actress. Ines the great, Ines the lucky child who had made their lives overflow with wealth just as they are now. And me? Just a useless burden to them.
I smiled bitterly. If my presence really was such a burden, why didn’t they just send me to an orphanage back then? Or why didn’t they send me back to the edge of the cliff? So I could follow Dad to meet Mom, who had already gone before us.
I tilted my head back, staring at the ceiling so these tears wouldn’t spill over.
I mustn’t cry. I tried to stay strong. But what else could I do? I’m just an ordinary woman. I’m weak, and sometimes I truly feel I can’t bear all of this anymore. In fact, I’ve even thought about ending my life because I’m so exhausted by this injustice.
God, why do I have to go through this?
My tears were about to fall, but I quickly wiped them away roughly. I exhaled softly, then struggled to walk toward the dining table when I was called.
“Rada! What took you so long?! Can’t you even walk?!” Ines’s shrill voice echoed in my ears.
“Did you forget she’s disabled, Ines?” Mariana retorted quickly.
Instantly, they burst out laughing together just as I reached the table. Once again, my physical condition had become a source of amusement for them.
“What’s going on?” I asked softly, holding back my frustration.
“What do you mean, ‘what’s going on’?! Where’s the drink I asked for, huh?! Why didn’t you just get it ready? Don’t you know what I want every morning?!” Ines snapped sharply.
I let out a soft sigh. The fridge was right behind her. She just needed to stand up for a moment to get it herself instead of yelling at me and humiliating me. I knew what she’d asked for, and I’d already put it in the fridge—I’d just forgotten to get it for her.
“It’s right behind you, Ines. You can stand up and get it. Besides, I already prepared some juice for you earlier,” I replied as quietly as possible.
Ines immediately shoved her chair back, making it screech loudly. She pointed at my face with eyes blazing with anger.
“You dare talk back to me, Rada?! Are you tired of living, huh?! Have you forgotten your duties in this house?!” she snapped brutally.
Not wanting to prolong the commotion, I chose to remain silent and turned to walk toward the refrigerator.
However, my steps halted when Ines suddenly stood in my way.
“What’s wrong, Ines? I’m going to get you a drink, so please don’t block my way—move aside…” I asked in a soft, pleading voice.
Ines smiled cynically. Without warning, she shoved my shoulder with great force.
Unable to maintain my balance, I immediately lost my footing and crashed to the floor.
“Agh...” I groaned in pain, clutching my leg that had hit the hard floor. Instead of feeling guilty, Ines laughed smugly at the sight of me sprawled on the ground.
“Hahahaha, that’s what you get for defying me, Rada!”
“Ines!” Darion suddenly scolded her in a firm voice.
“What’s the matter, Dad?! She annoyed me, so it’s only natural I did that!” Ines protested, refusing to back down.
I looked at Darion as he took a deep breath. He stood up from his seat, then slowly walked toward me.
I braced myself, expecting him to act just as roughly as Ines had. But then a miracle happened—he actually reached out his hand and helped me to my feet.
“Dad?! Why are you helping her?!” Ines snapped, startled.
“Sit down, Rada,” Darion said, ignoring his daughter’s protests. He guided me over and asked me to sit at the dining table—an extremely rare occurrence, one that had never happened before.
“Dad! Why are you making her sit at our dining table?! I don’t want to sit with her, Dad!” Ines snapped, even more upset.
“Ines, enough! Don’t make a scene. It’s time for you to head to your movie audition. Don’t let this ruin your mood. A future famous actress can’t be late!” Mariana interjected, trying to calm her beloved daughter.
Ines let out an exasperated sigh, her eyes glaring at me sharply, full of resentment. She stomped her foot on the floor, then simply walked away. Mariana hurried after her golden child, leaving just Darion and me at the dining table.
“Are you okay?” Darion asked softly.
The question swirled in my head, sparking a surge of curiosity. This was the first time he’d asked how I was since Ines was born.
“I’m fine,” I replied softly.
“Good, then. You have to stay healthy; you mustn’t get sick, Rada,” he continued, which only made my brow furrow even more in puzzlement.
“Eat plenty. Remember, don’t get sick,” Darion emphasized once more before finally turning and walking away, leaving me alone in a surge of confusion.
Don’t get sick? Why was Darion suddenly being so nice to me? Were they planning something?
I didn’t know why my body was betraying me. What this stranger was doing was making my body writhe in surrender on the bed. Indecent moans kept escaping from between my lips as his hot lips swept over and sucked on the tips of my nipples. My eyes widened, my head tilted back as I braced for a wave of sensations I’d never felt before. A tingling, a heat, and a pleasure merged into one intense shock that set my consciousness ablaze. Yet, the remnants of my sanity were still trying to resist. Between the moans escaping my lips, I was still begging for mercy.“Ah… uh… Sir… please, don’t…” I whispered hoarsely. The man didn’t budge. He was still absorbed in squeezing my breast with a dominant pressure, while his mouth continued to suck on my nipple—just like a baby nursing from its mother. Once he’d had his fill of my right breast, he moved on to take control of my left. As if it weren’t enough to suck just one side until it turned red.His kisses began to trail downward. With his hand sti
“S-Sir… what’s going on?” I asked innocently, my voice trembling. The man didn’t answer. Instead, he brought his face even closer. I could hear his heart pounding wildly beneath his broad chest. His hot, ragged breath slapped against my face, triggering a wave of overwhelming fear.Terrifying images immediately flashed through my mind. I had just escaped from the fat man who bought me from Darion, but now I was face-to-face with a stranger who seemed consumed by a wild passion that was just as dangerous.“Sir, please let me go…” I whispered, trying to loosen his grip. But his hold was incredibly strong. With my physical limitations, I couldn’t move a muscle. He stared intently at me with bloodshot eyes. The next moment, his head snapped down, and he pounced, kissing my lips.I was, of course, completely taken by surprise by this sudden attack—especially since this was my first kiss. His lips crushed against mine roughly and forcefully. I froze, motionless, trying to muster what little
There was no response from the man, but my fingers were still clutching his expensive suit tightly. In the panic burning in my chest, I still hoped for a shred of mercy from him to help me.“Help me, sir... please...” I whispered again, my voice trembling.I turned my head when I heard the fat man’s shouts of curses growing closer in the hotel hallway. The man in front of me remained motionless. I stared deeply into his eyes, searching for a glimmer of humanity there. Finally, without uttering a single word, he suddenly pulled me close to his side.“Can’t you walk normally?” A deep, cold voice rumbled from his mouth, shattering the silence.“I-I… can’t. My right leg is disabled, sir,” I replied softly, lowering my head.Without another word, the man simply lifted me into his arms. I was startled and reflexively wrapped my arms around his neck. But I didn’t dare protest—my fear of being captured again by that evil man was far greater. He carried me with long strides out of the hotel ha
“Are you guys going to sell me?!” I asked immediately after managing to stand up with great difficulty in the living room. Not a single one of them answered. They just exchanged meaningful, cynical smiles.“Why are you doing this?! I… I’m willing to be your servant! But please, don’t do this!” I pleaded, gasping for breath.Mariana burst out laughing. She stepped forward, gently stroking my cheek, but the next second she twisted and yanked my hair very roughly. My head was forced back. I screamed in pain as I felt a strong tug on my scalp.“Do you even have the right to speak, Rada?! Remember, you owe us a debt of gratitude! So, you have to make a lot of money so we don’t end up beheaded for being unable to pay our debts!” Mariana snarled right in my face.“But why me?!” I stammered. My eyes turned red as I endured the pain in my head because Mariana still hadn’t released her grip. “I’ve never even once enjoyed your wealth! I— Aagghh!”I couldn’t finish my sentence, screaming as Maria
I stared at the leftovers on the table. A deep sense of curiosity filled my mind. Usually, they only leave me a tiny bit—and often, they don’t leave me anything at all. But look at this—Darion even left me a whole chicken thigh.Have they suddenly turned nice?It seems impossible, considering how often they’ve treated me unfairly all this time. Especially since the chicken thigh is Ines’s favorite part. If she found out I got the thigh, she’d definitely fly into a rage and snatch it right out of my hands. But why have they changed now? Especially Darion. That man usually always takes Ines’s side and never hesitates to hit me if his spoiled little girl makes up some nonsense.Never mind, I shouldn’t dwell on it too much. Right now, I need to eat to recharge my energy. They might go back to acting like their usual selves later tonight.I finished off that fairly substantial meal. A faint smile played on my lips. After washing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen, I even managed to grab a
