Chapter 1 Contract Lovers

In the suburb of a city named Nangania.

On a large European-style bed in a luxuriously decorated villa.

Kristen Oliver slowly opened her eyes. She stood up and stretched, feeling pain all over her body.

As soon as she got out of bed, she almost fell on the carpet next to the bed because of her weak legs.

Kristen frowned slightly. The intimate scene from last night came back into her mind and her cheeks flushed red.

Just then, the bathroom door opened.

Kristen turned her head and looked at him. She looked into his black eyes which were as dark as a deep pool.

It was a clean and white face. His deeply lined face looked cool. The thick eyebrows, the high nose, and the beautiful shape of the lips were all showing off their nobility and elegance.

Every time Kristen saw his handsome face, she would stare blankly for a few seconds.

She curled her lips, “My legs are too weak. Carry me to the bathroom.”

Ethan Wharton ignored her words and went straight to the cloakroom to pick up a black suit and put it on.

Kristen glanced at him grumpily.

It was such a pity that such a handsome face grew on this unfeeling man.

Kristen thought to herself before dragging herself into the bathroom.

The woman in the mirror had fair skin and a very beautiful face.

Kristen looked at the marks on her neck and cursed, “Asshole.”

After washing up, Kristen went to the dressing room, which was filled with a dazzling array of costumes and bags, all of which were brand-name limited editions.

These were all bought for her by Ethan. Kristen recalled the reason they knew each other.

She had met him a year ago.

Because of an accident, she had sex with this man, and then they signed a two-year contract, becoming contract lovers.

She liked Ethan’s appearance. Who wouldn’t like a handsome and rich man?

As for why Ethan chose her, it was also probably because of her beauty...

After changing her clothes and putting on simple makeup, Kristen went downstairs.

Ethan was having breakfast. His every move was elegant. Kristen sat down opposite him.

Ethan had just finished eating and was about to leave when she hurriedly said, “The driver asked for leave today. I don’t want to take a taxi. Can you take me to the audition?”

The man said mercilessly, “You won’t pass the audition. What’s the point of it?”

His words left Kristen speechless.

She was now an unknown actress and her company had been neglected for three months.

Kristen was so angry that she rolled her eyes, “I haven’t gone yet. How do you know that I will fail?”

The man opposite her sneered.

Although Ethan mocked Kristen, he still waited for her to finish breakfast before leaving the villa together.

Sitting in the passenger seat, Kristen took out her phone and found that she had received a WhatsApp message.

“Kristen, it’s been a year. Don’t be stubborn. Go home quickly. Grandpa and brothers miss you very much.”
