Ares nodded his head with satisfaction and turned his gaze back to his wife. He knows her body is weak and she couldn't walk on her own like usual. Their days are numbered and his wife would want to finish one last thing before her death.

"Is she...?" Lucas wanted to ask if his mother would ever wake up again or not. But his throat closed up and he couldn't speak after that.

But Ares understood what his son is asking.

"She will wake up. But you have to come to terms with everything son. I am not saying that it would be easy to deal with our loss, but you are stronger than this. We don't want to see you like this. This is the reason why your mother doesn't want you to visit us anymore. But i know it's not fair for you. She will live for now, but not for long. Try to be happy that this is not the end of us.
