Stolen

Lola is swimming near the shallow parts of the river, mindful not to go to the deeper side. The demon servant is waiting near the shore, carefully holding her mistress's clothes. Neither of them noticed a cloaked person lurking in the shadows. When the maid is distracted, that person came up behind her and snapped the demon's neck to one side.

The maid lifelessly fell on the muddy shore, with her eyes wide open. The cloaked person then collected the maid's body along with the clothes of the princess and silently slipped away from there undetected.

When Lola began to feel numb by soaking longer in the water and the water began to get cold, she decided to come out. But when she searched for the maid, she didn't find her anywhere. 

"Shangi?" Lola called for her, but only silence greeted her.

Lola frowned. This has never happened before and she began to feel uneasy. 

'Shangi never leaves me alone. Then where is she now? And where are my cloth
