Intruder

This rare kind of Joy filled the atmosphere. Aurelio doesn't know if he has ever been this happy.

Erica has brought him Joy, and not just him but his family too.

“Ohhh my dear! I am gonna be a grandma of twins" Mrs Bertram squealed happily.

“Oh dear Erica, you've brought me happiness, this kind of happiness I've been searching for" she said already breaking down into tears.

Erica left her seat and went to her as she crossed her hand around her shoulder.

“Lola, you shouldn't cry" she said lowly to her

"I am just so Happy dearie, how can I pay you” she asked Erica

" What? Of course not..I should be the one to ask you that Lola, I am so happy I have you now” Erica said to her and pulled her to a hug.

Aurelio was still smiling at the result in his hands, his mind wasn't with Erica or his Mom.

Mr Bertram was also looking at the photo.

" Great news! I am gonna be a great grandfather of twins, can't wait to see my great grandkids” Mr Maynard replied happily.

" Thus really calls for celebration dearie, congratulations” Mr Bertram said to her

" I'll take care of the baby shower, Goodness…how do I express this joy within me?“ Mrs Bertram replied as she inhaled deeply.

" Lola..calm down, let's eat and celebrate” Erica replied as she made her way back to her seat.

She was about to take her seat until Aurelio pulled her by her waist and sat her down on his lap.

" My Dear sweetheart, I can never stop loving you” he said and didn't wait for her reply, he kissed her small soft pink lips.

" My son is a grown up man!!“ Mr Bertram exclaimed as he grabbed the bottle of champagne and immediately popped it.

Everyone in the room, outside the room, in the kitchen and even the men around shouted happily as they clapped their hands too.

Erica pulled away from the kiss with a bright smile on her face, “Enough food for everyone in the house! Go get yours now!!“ She added shouting out too.

Without hesitation, all of them one by one made their way to the door of the kitchen and stood while the maids gave food to them to eat.

“A night of celebration!" Mr Maynard was so happy.

All the family ate together with Joy in their hearts and happiness seen on their faces and through their act.

" I will always say this, Erica is a blessing to us” Mr Maynard replied.

The following morning, 

Aurelio had asked Erica to stay at home and go no where while he goes to shopping mall to get her new stuffs.

She deserves more than he Could imagine.

He dressed up to leave the house for work and after few hours in the company, he would go to the shopping mall and get her gifts.

“Tell me you'll stay indoors" he asked her and she nods her head.

"Yes daddy,I will okay?“ She replied and cupped his cheeks.

" Much better, I'll go ask the maid to make you a very beautiful breakfast, I can't believe we have no leftovers from last night meal” he laughed

"There won't be..not when I am the one who cooked” she replied with a cute smile on her face.

" Yeah you're a great cook too, Damn I love you babe” Aurelio replied as he kissed her lips softly and pulled away.

“Love you too baby, you should get going now, come home in time okay? I wouldn't want to miss you too much" she replied as she walked out the room with him

“Yeah, I will my love, you should go back to the bed. It's too early for you to get up" he replied and she laughed out

“Aurelio? You don't expect me to be lazy" she laughed out

“What the? Honey it's not laziness, you are carrying two half of me inside you, I don't want you to overwork yourself or something, I want my baby to come out healthy” he replied as she laughed out again

“Yes doctor, I've heard you..fine….“ She replied and stood by the door with a heavy sigh.

"I love you honey” he replied and walked to her to give her one last kiss on her soft pink lips before he left.

"Have a great day” Erica waved at him.

"Thanks honey, I'll come back and have you for dessert” he said and she laughed before she closed the doors.

She walked to her to happily dancing around her room.

Last night was fun, and the day is seeming to be fun too.

She stopped my her standing wall mirror to look at herself and her tummy.

“I am pregnant?" She gasped as she covered her face with her palms childishly

“And I'm carrying twins, oh baby…mommy can't wait to see you” she giggled anf raised up her shirt to look at her tummy.

"Okay, my belly bump is coming out. I mean my tummy is usually very flat and now, it's really obvious it isn't” she laughed and turned to look through the other glass slide door that led to the other beautiful side of the mansion.

A nice spot for date, there was a carpet green grass by a side, and by the other side was a spot for couple date.

A table and a chair with flowers on it, then my the left side was a swimming pool.

She walked to the slide door and pulled it to the left side before she stepped out to feel the nice warm breeze.

 

She looked at the swimming pool and pictured herself with Aurelio in there then she chuckled.

“Today, I am just gonna have a good time by myself and wait for Aurelio to come back home" she smiled and turned around making her way back into her room then to the bathroom to go have a quick and nice bath so she could start her day.

  Meanwhile,

Aryan was seated with his father in the living room.

He had been on medication and he's slowly responding to treatments. “Dad, so what's your plan?" He asked his father who was seated with his legs crossed.

“Just wait and see what your father could do today son, if I can't have Aurelio…I'll have his wife to be to start with” he replied and slowly a smile appeared on Aryan's face.

" I knew you are smart!“ He exclaimed.

" When I said you should leave it to me, what were you expecting?“ His father laughed lowly.

 Aurelio had left the mansion into his car and drove out of the mansion through the gate.

" Honey, I'll be home soon” he thought.

He had told Rowan to stay in the mansion to watch over Erica, he wants to hear no excuse from anyone if she gets hurt.

  About minutes later.

Erica had finished bathing, she stepped out of the bathroom in her white knee length towel and walked to her dressing table, ruffling her hair with the small towel she held in her hands.

“Okay, so first things first, get dressed. Beautifully Erica" she said to herself before and made her way to her walk-in closet.

But, getting to the door, she had a strange sound from behind and that made her turn around immediately.

She scanned the room with her eyes and found nothing else was in her room.

With a shrug, she turned back and made her way in.

Erica went to the rail that has long dresses in them, her fingers were going over everyone of them till she got the one she loved.

“This is it!"

With that being said, she picked out the dress and walked to the other side of the rail to get a blouse.

“I am just gonna take mirror selfies today" she giggled as she went to get herself another blouse before she left her closet.

Going back to the room, she heard faint footsteps but could see no one in the room with her.

“Hello??..is anyone here?" She called out but there was no reply.

She stared at her bathroom doors for sometime and then made her way to check if probably the maid is in to do some cleaning but there was no one in there.

“Okay Maybe I'm just seeing things" she thought and walked back out of the bathroom and again she heard those footsteps directly behind her.

She froze immediately, the smell of her room atmosphere, it was clear someone else was in the room with her because the perfume she could smell doesn't belong to her not Aurelio.

Her eyes slowly went down to the ground and then she saw directly behind her was a black boot in the feet of someone she knows nothing about.

“Ahh!" She yelled out, frightened.

A hand immediately went over her mouth tightly and pulled her back.

“Boss, I have her" that thick masculine voice said from behind.

Erica could feel her heart race.

Her phone was very far away from her reach, she did what came to her mind immediately and that was to bite his hands hardly.

“What the hell??!!" He yelled out as he pushed her away.

She turned around to see a huge man standing in a face cap and a mask on.

“Who..who…who are you?“ She stuttered as she took slow steps back.

He ignored her question and walked slowly to her.

" You better submit yourself now or you'd regret it, Erica” 

It was clear to her he was one of Aryan's men.

" Never, I am going nowhere with you punk!“ She replied and turned around to run to her phone but he was so fast that he grabbed her and wrapped his hands around her small waist lifting her with one hand.

" Let me go!!“ She screamed as she kept shaking vigorously.

“Let go of me!!!" She screamed repeatedly that anyone in the hallway could hear her voice.

He got frustrated and threw her to the ground

" You wouldn't want me to hit you, you could lose your sight if I do Lady” he replied

" You really have a death wish, if he finds you.. he'll kill you" she replied referring to Aurelio.

" Your Aurelio? He can do nothing” he laughed out and pushed her back to the ground seeing she made an attempt to get up.

“I really can imagine how you both enjoy yourself so well, look at you, so pretty, I wonder what it's like to be inside you" he gave a smirk and made an attempt to pull off her towel.

Erica didn't give him a chance, she held unto her towel tightly and then she used the other one to slap his eyes.

“Ah! My eyes!" He yelped and pushed her again.

“Ahhh" she winced lowly in pain as she tried to get up but then he took out a gun and pointed it at her.

" Even if it's your dead body, they'll gladly accept it” he replied but before he pulled the trigger, Erica sent her legs immediately to his balls.

She has no idea of where the confidence to do that came From.

“You b!tvh!!" He cussed loudly and again she did, this time his gun fell off his hands.

Erica was about crawling to get it until he gripped her neck from behind.

“You are dying here" he growled

"I need the rest of you here, she's trying to get away” he said on the phone.

Rest of what??

He began strangling her, she began to breathe hardly. It was almost seeming impossible for her to until she looked at his left boots and saw he had this small knife around.

Immediately she pulled it out and sent it to his leg.

“Ahh!!" He yelled out.

She pulled it out and stabbed his leg again till he let go of her.

She fell back to ground breathing heavily, “you are so done b!tvh" 

She ignored his statement and turned to look at the gun just few steps away from her.

Looking back at him, he was leaping to her.

“Darn it!" She cussed as another guy in black appeared, standing by the slide door she left open.

" Damnnnn” 

"Too bad Aurelio won't get to see you anymore” that guy said as he charged at her but then she threw the knife straight at him and it went to no where else but his left chest.

" Ah!!“ She yelled out of fear.

He grabbed the knife in his hands trying to pull it out while she crawled to the gun on the ground, took hold of it and pointed it at the other guy leaping.

" Go to hell, where you came from” she said breathlessly before she pulled the trigger at his knee cap and then another at his other knee.

She turned back and saw the guy had pull out knife and was about taking his gun out.

" Aurelio would leave to take care of me and my unborn kids for your information” she continued as she pulled the trigger straight at his forehead.

" What the?? He's got a mafia as his wife too??" The other guy on the ground groaned and she turned back at him with a brow raised.

"Sleep well” she said lastly before she pulled the trigger at his chest and saw him fall dead.

With a heavy sigh, her head fell low.

Her heart was beating so fast, she looked down at her hands and saw blood stains.

“I…just killed someone…”

And again she heard heavy footsteps from behind, before she could look up, 

She heard a gunshot

“Ahhh!!" Erica screamed out
