Wedded

Mr Bertram with his wife and the rest of his men. They had killed every of Aryan's men. 

The house looked very scattered, dead bodies everywhere. “I need to see my son now" Mrs Bertram said as she turned around to make her way back to the room she left.

And just as she was few meters away, she Heard another gunshot coming in from the room.

“Nooo!!!" Mr Maynard yelled out.

She felt her heart skip a beat, Mr Bertram ran into the room immediately and saw Aurelio on the ground, bleeding…

Aryan was on the ground with a side weak smile.

“You bastard!!" He yelled and took out his gun to shoot Aryan countless times till he got tired of firing bullet at him.

He ran to Aurelio and crouched beside him, 

“What the! It's just my leg dad" Aurelio replied groaning and laughing at the same time.

His dad pulled off his shirt and tied it around his leg “And so?" He replied

“We need to get you out of here" his mom replied and then Aurelio was carried out of the room down the hallway to the car.

The rest of his men had left after setting bombs in every corners of the mansion.

The swimming pool, the living room, lobby room, game room, garage, everywhere.

As soon as they got into the car, the driver drove out of the compound as every other vehicle followed behind.

They made sure they drove very far away from the mansion before Mr Bertram pushed to button to activate the bomb.

He could still hear the very loud sound.

 Aurelio was taken to the hospital to be operated on.

Their family doctor was around to perform the operation.

By this time, it was already minutes to 12.

Erica is still awake waiting for his return until she slept off by the edge of the bed.

  Morning

Aurelio had left the hospital with his family and the rest of his men heading home. They were just few meters away from the mansion.

The maids in charge of cooking had prepared breakfast down and those in charge of cleaning had cleaned up the whole mansion.

 The black cars drove in through the big black gates and drove past the fountain, stopping by the main entrance.

Aurelio's mom stepped out of the car first before Aurelio did.

The doctor had taken out the bullet from his leg and stitched his wound.

He stepped out of the car holding his mom by her shoulders. 

“You have to get better fast, I can't keep carrying you around" his mom laughed.

He walked into the mansion with his families, Erica wasn't around. He knew she would be in the room.

“How's Erica?" His mom asked a maid she saw

“She's fine ma, she's been sleeping" she replied.

Aurelio took the step upstairs and went to his room leaping slowly.

He stepped into the room and saw Erica seated by the edge of the bed with her head on the bed.

“Honey…” he called out and went to her.

Aurelio placed his hands on her as she flinched back immediately, her eyes slowly went open.

She saw Aurelio before her and immediately she jumped up the ground throwing herself on him.

“Baby..you're back" she squealed happily

“Hurt?" She asked and pulled away noticing he wasn't standing so well.

“Got shot on my leg, I'm okay now hmm?" He replied

“Oh my! I'm so sorry" she said to him and was about to check out his leg but he pulled her back.

“I said I'm fine, forget the leg..it heal in no time, not the first time I'm getting shot" he laughed and she stared at him surprised.

“Damn, it's just one night away from you. I Miss you so bad" he said as he pulled her to a hug.

Erica giggled as he kissed her neck.. 

“Aryan is dead, henceforth we'll get no more disturbance" he said as he lifted her up from the ground and crossed her legs around his waist.

Aurelio didn't wait for her reply, he kissed her like he hadn't seen her for ages.

      THE WEDDING

 Erica stood before Aurelio with a smile on her face. The priest was standing by her right side between them.

Mr Maynard had called for a small wedding celebration rather than having multide of people.

Aurelio's family members home and abroad were around for the wedding and likewise Erica's family.

Yes, she went back to her mom with Aurelio days ago.

Her mom wasn't looking like human at all, after pouring out her heart that she was deeply sorry for what she did to Erica in the past, Erica felt bad for her and forgave her.

Aurelio asked for the release of her sister and her dad James, is back on his feet and at her wedding ceremony.

“If there's anyone of you here that finds no reason for them to be joined together, signify by raising up your hands now, otherwise you remain silent" the priest said out loud 

Not a single person raised up his or her hands “there ain't gon' be one I know" Aurelio said with a side smile.

The congregation laughed lowly “In that case, with the power invested in me, I pronounce you both, husband and wife" the priest said with a happy smile on his face.

The priest turned out to be their family doctor.

" You may ki—" Aurelio needed no permission for that.

He pulled Erica to himself and crashed his soft lips on hers.

Everyone got up from their seats cheering and screaming their names.

There's never a day he'll get tired of kissing Erica. 

   Night came by so fast, Aurelio was carrying Erica in his hands.

Her leg curled around his waist..they made a stumbling movement into the their bedroom. Aurelio lifted her to the bed not breaking the kiss.

“Thought about our babies names yet?“ Erica asked him as he laid her on the bed.

" Brian for the guy” Aurelio winked at her and pecked her lips

" Brianna for the girl” Erica giggled.

 

        4 years later.

The past years had been so good, even until the present day.

Erica had a safe delivery and today her kids are with her, Lola feels like the happiest person on earth and at the same time, Erica's mom feels same.

Erica walked out of the kitchen with breakfast in her hands for her kids seated on the dining.

Brian took his book down his hands to look at his ittle sister seating opposite him.

“ Brianna are you okay?" He asked her noticing she wasn't smiling.

Erica dropped down their plate and looked at briano worriedly.

“Hey hun, are you okay?" She asked her

“I guess I am mom, I saw my crush talking to another girl yesterday in class, I was really hurt mom" she cried out.

Lola turned to the dinning wide eyed, and Erica mom did same too.

“He said he could never like me because I use glasses, is it my fault mom?“ Brianna cried out

“You mean Ryan?" Brian asked immediately as he slammed his hands on his table angrily.

“How dare he say that to my little sister, mom looks like someone wants to go back to his Mom crying"

Erica was hurt by what her daughter had asked her..it's not her fault, and besides, Brianna isn't the one that can't do without glasses.

“Honey, don't listen to him okay?" She said to her

“My love your mom is right" Lola replied as she walked to her.

“He's a jerk, if he can't like you , baby you'll let him go..you're meant for the best okay?" Erica's Mom replied.

" Yes grandma” she replied.

 Aurelio walked down the stairs to take his kids to school along with Erica.

He made sure they are attending a very good school, good in all areas..

Few hours later….

The class was over, Brian sat on his seat waiting for his teacher to leave the class and eventually she did.

He got up and walked to Ryan's table and slammed his table to get his attention.

“Hey you"

“How may I help you Brian?" He replied

“What did you say about my sister yesterday?" He asked him with a cold glare 

Ryan gulped down heavily. Brian is one of the most handsome and respected student in the school. No one would want to get on his nerves.

“Uhm.. Brianna?"

“Do I have another?" Brian scoffed

“Oh, I told her to n—" Brian didn't let him finish his statement, he grabbed him by his collar and glared into his eyes darkly.

“If you ever speak to my sister in such manner again, I'll make you cry home to your momma with no fvcking tooth left" he said as he gritted his teeth.

“Don't even speak to her again" he continued and let go of Brian

“Yes I won't!" He replied breathlessly.

Brianna turned away with a shy smile on her face, her brother walked back to her and winked at her.

“I love you sis" he said in an inaudible voice. She could read his lips..

Just then, a new boy walked into the class .this new boy seems to get her attention.

He's looking extra cute and handsome.. Brianna's eyes went wide seeing he turned to her.

A female teacher stepped in after him, “okay class..this is our new student, the one I told you about" she said and they all clapped their hands.

" So, introduce yourself” she smiled at the young boy 

" I'm Aidan, I hope to study with y'all well" he smiled and everyone cheered.

His smile was enough for Brianna to fall for..

“Go take a seat Hun"

Brianna folded her lips in and turned back to her note, “mom said all guys are jerks except my brother, Dad and my grandpa's” she thought.

Her eyes went wide immediately she saw someone standing beside her and that was Aidan.

" May I seat with you?“ He gave a cute smile

" Uh..yeah..sure” she stuttered and moved her bag for him to seat.

" Thanks pretty”

HOURS LATER AFTER SCHOOL.

 Brian had arrived home with his sister, she was extremely happy. He saw her having a nice conversation with Aidan and he's sure that's part of the reason she's happy.

" Mom!! Dad!!!“ She screamed as she ran into the living room happily.

Aurelio dropped down the magazine he had and Erica got up his laps.

" Honey? What's the problem?“ She asked her immediately.

" I've got a new crush!!!!!“
