Unable to??

Erica head fell low between her lap and then she heaved in a sigh.

Rowan had heard what he wanted to hear, he was okay with the little he heard and immediately he left the house and went back to the car.

In no time Aurelio should be awake and be expecting him around.

Immediately he got into the car, he revived the engine and speedily drove away.

 Erica raised up her head and chuckled, “why should I even cry? What ever is ahead of me.. I am willing to accept it” she said to herself and got up her feet as she dragged herself to her bedroom, climbing up the stairs wasn’t as a easy as she thought but she gathered herself and went into her room then the bathroom after she took off her clothes.

“If there’s anything I wish for now, is that I don’t get what I will not be able to carry and I don’t see that guy around.. I have no idea what of what I’ll say to him when I do” she sighed and let her head rest in the bathtub.

The feeling of the water above her chest was a huge relief to her, she felt cool immediately and then she slowly closed her eyes.

Her mind went back to the way she had clung herself unto Aurelio.

Yes no man has ever made her felt that way “its all memories now Erica, it’s okay” she said to herself and immediately she remembered the bed.

“F*ck!!!! The bedspread!!!” she exclaimed remembering she didn’t change it or even put it for the laundry.

“Goodness!!” she screamed immediately as she sat up in the pool.

Many thoughts began to swim in to her head.

What if the cleaner finds out there was a stain on the bed?

What would they think of immediately?

“Yes clearly I didn’t just help him last night! I slept with him and deflowered myself!!”

“ Oh no I need to leave immediately” Erica said to herself and then she paused the moment she remembered she isn’t doing room service but would be working in the bar, she could only have the opportunity to go into the room at night when it’s her shifts but still, someone would have gotten into the room and must have seen it before night.

She fell back immediately and slapped her forehead 

“There’s simply nothing I can do, I think I should not even go back there” she groaned aloud.

She was already frustrated out of everything.

 Aurelio was still asleep on the bed, he had never had a good sleep like this before.

His hands slowly moved on something that felt smooth and soft as a smile appeared on his face.

His eyes slowly went open, he could feel the light bright against his eyes and then he looked down to see a pillow in his hands.

Confusion took over.

Did he spend the night with a pillow or what?

He groaned aloud as he sat up on the bed and felt his head throbbing.

“oh f*ck” he groaned lowly and thought of it again.

He remembered Erica walking into his room, he remembered when he was drinking last night.

His eyes went down to his wrist and he could see her purple handkerchief around his wrist.

He remembered getting hurt last night and remembered Erica treating his wounds and a side smile appeared on his face.

“So she left her handkerchief with me” he chuckled and turned to the pillow as he pushed it away.

Immediately he could see blood stains on the bed, his eyes wide immediately.

How could he forget that too!

“Where did she go?” he asked himself and picked up his phone immediately to call Rowan 

Rowan answered the call immediately “Boss, you are up” his voice came up from the other end.

“Yes and where are you?” he replied him

“in the hotel, you want me around right?” Rowan replied

“yes immediately” Aurelio replied and ended the call 

He got up from his bed naked and walked to the bathroom to get a bathrobe on, as soon as he was done he went to the other side of the bed to look at the blood stains on the bed.

“Virgin…..”

So he had actually slept with a Virgin. 

Minutes later, there was a knock on the door and he knows who it is already. Rowan stepped in with a bow after greeting him “Good morning boss”

“hope you had a good night?” Aurelio replied

“Yes I did” Rowan replied and walked to him to see what he was looking at.

His eyes went wide immediately “Boss…”

“Yes I know, that’s why I called you here…I don’t know where she is but I am sure she works here.. it would not be nice for other employees to see this here, so please handle it so we can leave here” Aurelio said to him

“Let no stain be found, you can do that right?” Aurelio asked him

“Yes sir, I will” Rowan replied with a bow while Aurelio left to get a quick bath.

And while he went away, Rowan had a smile on his face, somehow he was having good vibes about what he was seeing.

He took the bedspread away and carried it with him to the laundry room.

He could see the washing machine in and opened it as he threw the bedspread in to it immediately, he took a whole pack of detergent soap and emptied all the content into the machine, added bleach to it too, antiseptic and then he covered the machine as he turned the machine on.

“Definitely there would be no spot” he smiled and left the room.

Who ever gets in would see he was washing and take over from where he had stopped.

Few minutes later,

Rowan stepped out and could see Aurelio was already dressing up and was almost done.

“all done, we are good to go sir” he said to him immediately.

Aurelio ran his hands through his hair as he took one more look on the bed then looked away after releasing a sigh.

“great, let’s go then” he replied and left the room with Rowan behind him.

And just as they left, another staff was making her way to the room they had just left to clean it up 

Rowan handed the key card to her immediately and went into the elevator with Aurelio.

She took the card and went into the room but the first thing she heard was the sound of the washing machine.

“Washing??” she thought and took steps to the laundry room, yes the machine was active and then she stepped further to open it to see what they were actually washing.

The first thing she saw was FOAM!!

“what the!!” she screamed immediately and looked to the other side of the machine to see the empty pack of detergent soap Rowan had used in the bin.

Her jaw dropped immediately.

“Who on earth use a whole sachet of detergent soap to wash a bedspread!!”

Rowan had settled Mrs Sandra in the name of Aurelio, yes he gave her some amount of money so she would not tell at Erica.

Aurelio didn’t even bother going elsewhere but headed home directly.

 Erica was done bathing and sat in the living room. She wore her green and yellow colored hoodie that stopped by her lap and sat on the couch with her legs on the table and her eyes fixed on the TV watching a television show.

A bowl of cereal was in her hand and a spoon in the other.

“Plans changed, I am not going back there.. no, I won’t . I would rather stay in my house than go back there and get insults from people” she clicked her tongue and kept eating.

“This is life from now on, me and my house” she smiled 

     HOURS LATER

 Aurelio had been at home, he didn’t go to his father nor his grandpa instead he sat at home and stayed in his room for hours.

He had been ignoring his father call and even ignored his grandpa calls.

Apparently he has nothing to say to them yet. A knock was heard on the door, yes he ignored again… 

  “Sir, your grandpa request to see you” he heard a female voice say 

“What? Is he here?” he exclaimed as he sat up immediately and got off his bed.

“Yes sir, with your father, they want to see you, waiting in the living room Sir” she replied

“I will be coming” Aurelio replied and in no time he left his room 

Aurelio made his way out of his room down the hallway and got to the living room.

There he met his father in a grey suit and his grandpa in a Black suit.

They both had their eyes on him.. “Gosh..young men” Aurelio sarcastically said to them and walked to take his seat 

“Good evening Father, Grandpa..good evening to you too” Aurelio muttered and dropped his phone on the side glass table beside him.

“Are you in your right senses Aurelio? So you look so good and you ignored my calls!!” his dad started with.

He said nothing but remained quiet.

“I was worried sick about you, how could you do such a Thing?” His Grandpa added but still Aurelio remained mute and stared at them blanky.

“I was thinking you went to do something stupid, like visiting Darkhood clan, you know I hate when you go to those people especially when you can’t do anything” his grandpa said

That’s the organization Aryan works for. His father is the owner and Yes Aryan has been given power already.

Aurelio got mad immediately he heard his grandpa mention Darkhood clan.

He thought of Aryan immediately and remembered all what he said to him yesterday.

“Anyways you’re all good, looking healthy and even better” his father sighed

“So why did you then ignore us?” his father added and gave a questioning look at him.

Aurelio sat up and sighed “NO good reason, I just wanted time alone” he replied.

His father scoffed “Aurelio, I am your father and I know you well” he replied

“Aurelio, I am your Grandfather..and I know you too well” Mr Maynard replied

“Good, the both of you should keep knowing me well and too well” Aurelio rolled his eyes as he leaned against his couch.

“So how’s it going Grandson? You have just next week” his grandpa said to him. He sighed heavily and shook his head 

“Let’s wait and see, I don’t know if you guys don’t want to give me the position and that’s why you brought such challenge to me..” he replied

“Isn’t it easy?” his father asked him. Aurelio looked straight at him then laughed out

“Father— Grandpa— the both of you should just wait till next week”

“ I’ll tell you this now, you have to get a lady pregnant..and she must come to us with the result, probably a dipstick or a doctors report but still, whatever result you bring.. we will still have to recheck in the headquarters Grandson” Mr Maynard replied.

Aurelio clenched his fist.. they are saying it like it is one easy task. Who would even want to go with him if he tells them he need them to get something done?

“She has to be pregnant before you bring her to us, it takes a week or more after sex for a lady to realize she is pregnant” his father said to him.

Aurelio eyes went wide immediately “Yes son” his father replied

“So you have today and tomorrow..by the end of next week, if you still can’t bring a RESPONSIBLE lady home.. we will have to extend the handover.. definitely another day and not this year” his grandpa replied

“WHAT!!” Aurelio Bertram yelled out

They both nod there heads like a gentleman.

“Do not tell me you were unable get a lady pregnant in the past few days” his grandpa laughed but he said nothing.

“If you eventually find one to sleep with next with… and bring her after weeks saying she is pregnant..you still will be disqualified. It is just a week left” his father replied

“Do you know what you guys are doing to me??” he yelled out angrily.

“Do you even think it’s easy to get a responsible lady pregnant out of the blues??” he yelled as he stood up

“You should just leave, if it doesn’t go well..no probs about that, I will just leave Los Angeles for you both” he said and stormed out of their sight immediately.

His father was stunned and his grandpa had a smile on his face.

He was getting what he wanted “Father, isn’t this too hard for him?” Aurelio father asked Mr Maynard

“Should we not just give him already?”

“I am tired of seeing him this way, I don’t think Aurelio can do it father”

“Wait and see, I trust him..off course we can give it to him immediately. I am sure he is smart.. he will definitely bring someone before the end of next week” his grandpa replied

“This whole brought up challenge is fun, he will become more responsible, just wait and see” His grandfather laughed.
