Veronica POV

               Niko and I ran through the woods chasing a few bunnies along the way. After about 45 minutes we reached a small creek. I pranced over to take a drink, wagging my tail towards Niko playfully. The way the moon danced on the dark water was mesmerizing. He pounced towards me knocking me down into the creek, covering my fur with water.

               I bounced back up growling slightly at him before pouncing in his direction. He dodged my fetal attempt; his fur shifting as he chuckled. I shook my coat before I laid my head down on my paws. I didn’t want to admit it, but it was strange being in wolf form again. It was as if I forgot was it was like and just became human, or whatever I am.
