               I began to wake in a haze. My head hurt from the inside out. I wasn’t sure where I was, I could hear voices; I was straining to make out the words. As the pain in my head grew worse, I tried to remember the last thing before I blacked out.

               I was in Nikola’s truck. He went inside because the door was kicked in. My brother is going to kill me for that, I thought. I remembered being in the truck, closing my eyes trying to stay calm. My mind was going a million miles an hour thinking of the possibilities. I wasn’t used to so much danger and excitement.
