4. Jason

Jason kept watching his driver struggling to get the woman off him, he didn't know why the woman gripped his driver by his pants, he thought to give them some minutes to finish it up, but within few seconds he ran out of patience, he dropped his phone and the file he was holding behind him and thought he would go and figure out what was happening.

"What the hell.." Jason groaned. He opened the car door and step out of the car. Just before he could take a step forward he heard his phone ringing.

'Beep beep beep' His phone kept on ringing, he looked at the phone and tried to pick it up but it was not within his reach, he had stepped out of the car and the phone was at the other end.

"Hmm, later please." He groaned again as he slammed the car door.

He walked to where his driver and the woman were, he bent his head to take a proper look at her. She looked chaordic in her messy wedding gown. He was quite amazed by the sight of a bride on her wedding gown, kneeling and crawling after his driver on a busy highway.

What could she possibly want he thought, but then when he remembered he was trying to change his location and exposing himself like that in public might give him away, he thought he would handle the situation real quick.

His eyes suddenly drifted around-they were in the middle of the highway and a church was opposite them with people dressed up like they were there for a party standing in front of the church feeding their eyes with the scene the bride was making and he-has just stepped right in the middle.

It infuriated him, seeing how some where busy recording the scene. Getting out of the car was one of the most stupidest thing he had ever done in his life. What he was trying to avoid had caught up with him, his location would be known to his enemies-the Alfredo's and his step grandfather.

"Miss, I think we have helped you enough by not reporting you to the police." He said to her in a deep manly voice.

Even though he felt pity for her, he wouldn't be able to do anything as he needed to get away from there as soon as humanly possible.

When the woman lifted her head up to look at him, her gaze was fixed at him. He noticed her pair of pleading eyes, her eyes was as if she had been crying all morning. He couldn't resist her captivating beauty, even though her gown looked a mess, she was still damn pretty on her fresh makeup and perfectly styled hair.

Her curly hair was wrapped in a bun, with strands dripped down by the corners of her ears. Her brown light skin kept glowing as the sweet morning sun shone bright at her.

It was the first time in a long while he found a woman that attracted him that much in his hellhound of a life.

He fixed his eyes on hers and for a moment there he was lost, when he noticed in an instant that her eyes were squinted at him analysing his body built, it made him felt uncomfortable.

When she let go of his driver's pants, he felt she understood what he meant and was happy she cooperated with him. He attempted to walk away but was held back by the words she said to him-

"Imagine I'm your sister and my groom didnt show up at my wedding, wouldn't you want me to know what actually happened?" She said to him with a shaking voice.

He turned and looked at her, he didn't know why she said that to him. When he placed everything together, he figured she was the bride whose guest was waiting right outside the church for.

The words she said made him weak, he never wished he had a sister, he wouldn't have been able to see her living such a chaotic life as his.

He was unaffected by her so called convincing speech. He didn't know what he would say to her, after much thoughts he turned toward her and then

he scoffed at her and rolled his eyes

"Unfortunately, you ain't my sister. And no, I don't have a sister, I wouldn't know if I would want her to figure out why her groom could have stood her up."

He then turned to walk away but the next thing she said infuriated him.

"What if I'm your mother, if your father had stood me up at the alter, wouldn't you want to know why he'd do that?" She yelled at him.

Jason was furious at what she said, he hated hearing or speaking about his parents. She talking about them made him felt like an old wound in his heart that was yet to be healed has opened up bringing back an excruciating pain.

His mood drastically changed as he folded his hand in anger ready to punch someone. He furrowed his brows and turn to look at the woman, he kept on glaring at her and his eyes instantly turned red.

His parents had died a wrongful death, and since all this years he just found out they were murdered. He felt a force of rage gushing out of him, he was about to be consumed by it but then he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, It wasn't the time or the place and she-wasn't the

 murderer.

"Get in." He said to her and then he entered the car.

He thought to drop her off at wherever she was going to as it was the only way he could possibly help her.

When she got inside the car he caught a glimpse of her on the mirror at the front of the car seat, then he looked away.

His mind were flooded with thoughts about his parents, he had a stern look on his face one that didnt seem like it was coming off anytime soon.

When they got to where she was going, he noticed she was being hesitant. She got down from the car and shut the door, Jason kept on staring at her wanting to see what she came to do at the church of another's person's wedding.
