FAZER LOGIN“What do you have there, lil cub?” All of a sudden Ryker’s voice broke her reverie.
“None of your business Ryker,” Caly said startled, trying to close the lid of the jewelry box and put the note away quickly. Before she could get it put away, Garrett snatched the note from her hand and ran to the other side of the kitchen. “Give it back to me Garrett, I mean it! It’s not yours! I’m serious! Give it to me!” She hollered at him and chased after him, he ran around the island in the middle of the kitchen as Caly desperately tried to take the note from him, but he held it aloft above her head. “Here, read it,” he said to Ryker as he ran past him. “Ryker, no don’t --” “Here is a rose, for the prettiest girl I know, ---” Ryker began. “What is going on here!” bellowed Gavin Everwood from the doorway. Everyone stopped dead in their tracks as silence filled the room. “I ask again, what is going on here?” he said in a lower tone. All of a sudden everyone began to speak at once. “Quiet! One at a time! Ryker, hand over what you have there, son.” “Yes, sir,” he responded promptly, and walked over to Gavin handing him the note. Gavin began to read it, then immediately yelled for his wife. “Cecily! I need you now.” Cecily had just finished wrapping Calypso’s gift when she heard her husband holler for her from the kitchen. Oh no, what has happened, she wondered worriedly and quickly headed towards the kitchen. She rushed into the kitchen pushing past her husband who was blocking the entrance with his large frame, “What is happening? Is everyone ok?” Across the kitchen, Eli was standing next to the breakfast nook looking angry and confused all at once. Ardie was sitting at the table drinking his milk. Garrett was near the island in the middle of the kitchen staring at his feet looking guilty, and Ryker was next to Gavin in the same exact stance as Garrett. Calypso was standing next to him, face beet red, looking mortified and as if she was about to cry. All of a sudden, she bursts into tears, pushed Ryker out of the way and ran up the stairs to her room. Every single face in the kitchen looked contrite and chagrined. “Here,” --Gavin said quietly as he handed her the note-- “you need to handle this one.” Cecily reads the note and her heart hurts for her daughter’s sensitive situation. She looks up at the kids, “Really, boys? It’s her birthday. Did you really have to behave that way?” she said chastising them, already coming to her own conclusions about the situation. “We’re sorry mom,” Garrett replied. “Sorry, Mrs. Everwood,” responded Ryker. “Well, I didn’t do anything,”-- Eli quipped,-- “come on Ardie, I’ll take you outside and we can go find Mr. Tate and see the horses.” “Horseys!” Ardie squealed. “If that is ok with you mom?” He questioned. “Yes, go ahead, as long as you weren’t a part of this?” “I wasn’t, I promise.” “Way to throw us under the bus Eli,” Garrett shot off. “Y'all did that all on your own, didn’t need my help.”His mom watched as he took Ardie’s hand, and they both walked out the back door of the kitchen. She spun around and stared daggers at Ryker and Garrett. “I’m not the one you need to apologize to.”
“Stay here, do not go anywhere, I will be back shortly to deal with you two. Right now, I have to go upstairs and comfort a little girl whose older brother and his best friend made her cry on her twelfth birthday. You know how special this day is for a cub, this is a very difficult time for a twelve-year-old girl as well, not to mention her embarrassment about her first crush.” “Ok mom, we understand, and we are very sorry. Please go and check on Caly,” responded Garrett feeling terrible, he watched as his mom left the kitchen and went to go check on Caly.Just then, Eli came back through the kitchen door from outside and said angrily, “That was pretty crappy of ya’ll to do that to her!”
“We were just messing around with her, dude. We didn’t think she would get that upset about it. She’s only twelve and shouldn’t be thinking about boys anyways,” Garrett reasoned. “Yeah, well, she really likes Travis, and he is just now getting the nerves to let her know he likes her too,” Eli responded, both angered and annoyed. “And you’re ok with your best friend liking our little sister?” “Yeah, I am! He's just a year older than her, and all I want is for her to be happy. You should want that too! She’s twelve, it’s normal for her to start thinking about and liking boys. I’d rather it be my best friend, than some Tom, Dick or Harry that we don’t know from another pack.” “Well, I’m not ok with it! She shouldn’t be thinking about boys! I would never be ok with her liking my best friend and him liking her. That is just asking for drama and problems, and it makes things way too complicated. Come on Ryker, let’s go find that little punk and tell him he’s not allowed to like Caly,” Garrett said as he and Ryker headed towards the back door. She rushed towards him excitedly, forgetting her anger for the moment, “You found him!”“I did,” he smiled. As she reached for the rope quickly, Lightning sidestepped, and reared, spooked by her fast movement. “Whoa there boy!” He said dropping the reigns of his horse, and grabbing at the rope with both hands, trying to gain control of Lightning. Calypso stopped immediately, seeing that she made one of the stupidest mistakes she could when handling horses, and watched as his shoulder and arm muscles bunched in his T-shirt as he used all his strength to hang on to the rope. “Shhh, shhh, shh, it’s ok boy, whoa, calm down!” He lowered his tone and gently put his hand on Lightning’s neck trying to calm him. She watched as he gained control and whispered into the horse’s ear, “It’s ok, she won’t hurt ya. Shh, shh, shh.” Lightning immediately calmed down, as he gently stroked the horse’s neck. Terrible things went through her mind as she watched him stroke the horse’s neck, things about oth
Calypso awoke with a start as the tail end of a nightmare ended. She was at a warehouse and no one else was around, she was confused as to how she had gotten there. In the dream she was fighting the same large brown wolf that had killed her mother, years ago. She was exhausted from the fight, but she continued to push on to kill it. Suddenly, a large black wolf showed up in her dream, behind the brown one. She couldn’t make out its blurred face, but it was familiar to her. It growled at her and prepared to pounce on her, from behind the large brown wolf, she knew this was the end,the black wolf was going to end her life, just like the brown one had her mother’s. It leaped towards her, she braced herself for the feel of its large jaws to snap her neck and end it all, then she woke up.She snapped awake covered in sweat, heart racing, with the smell of fear about her. She took several gulps of air, consciously breathing in and out to calm herself, then looked around the cave. The bright
Xander battled with himself and Shadow the whole time he was running, he fought for control of Shadow. By the time he had ran his frustrations, anger, desire, and all the other emotions out, he was exhausted. The mental battle itself was exhausting. He didn’t know how much longer he could take. After a while, Shadow finally gave him control and went to the back of his mind. Shadow had an unyielding desire to go back to the cave to mark and claim his mate, Xander, couldn’t allow that. Therefore, he fought Shadow until they both were mentally and physically exhausted from running and battling for control. They lay down in complete exhaustion in the middle of the woods. He changed back into his human form and just laid there on the ground, panting from the physical and mental exertion. Thankfully the rain had died down to a sprinkle. He finally chose to have a conversation with Shadow, a conversation which was long overdue, and hadn’t happened in years.“Shadow?” he questioned hesitantly
As Rae approached the hot spring, she dropped the lavender on the floor and changed back into her human form. Calypso grabbed the bunch of lavender flowers and tossed them into the hot spring. After a few moments the scent of lavender filled the cavern, she then walked into the pool, letting out a tired sigh. She ducked under water, washing away all the dirt, grime, and mud, which had accumulated on her skin from the long trek to the cave, and the storm. She gently pulled a few twigs and leaves from her long hair and floated on her back, letting the warm water envelope her, and relaxing in the water, with a hint of lavender scent from the flowers.“Hey, Rae?” Caly said in her mind. “Hmm,” came Rae’s relaxed response.“What do you think of all this?” she questioned.“I haven’t the slightest idea,” Rae responded, “All I know is that I am pretty sure he is our mate.”“I thought so, too, but why lie about being a wolf? And deny yourself the pleasure of a mate?” Calypso questioned.“Well,
“I don’t know, but I am pretty sure he is our mate.” Rae responded in her head, “I felt the pull and the bond trying to form as his canines pricked our neck.” Just then she heard a long sorrowful howl.“So, he’s a wolf then?” Calypso asked confused since she hadn’t once smelled it on him.“He is, but I don’t know from what pack.” “But how does he not smell like one?” Calypso asked confused.“I don’t know, but we need to find out. Go after him!” Rae urged.Calypso immediately changed into her beautiful white wolf, and followed him, she caught his wolf scent of arousal as she went deeper into the cave and into a tunnel that led past a large pool that had heat rising from it. She walked closer to the pool, studying it, she felt the warmth radiate off it. Part of her just wanted to jump in, but a more urgent part pushed her to continue past it and to find her mate. She walked past the pool into another cavern that led to another tunnel filled with stalactites and stalagmites. Calypso’s w
Fuck! I can’t do this! He thought and stormed over to the fire, he grabbed her arm, turned her around and gave her a hard passionate kiss filled with frustration, desire, anguish, hunger and hope for more, yet anger at wanting more. The kiss bruised her lips, it was hard and molten hot, she had no choice but to take it all in. He forced her mouth open wide with his tongue, ruthlessly and relentlessly kissing her, she met him with just as much hunger. Calypso had no idea what took over her at his dominate kiss, but she met him full force, their tongues tangled in a heated battle, his claiming dominance over hers. She took his tongue deeper into her mouth and thrust hers into his. He tasted amazing, and his scent enveloped her. She could not get enough of his kiss, she pressed hard against him, wanting to melt into him. She had been denying herself so much over the years that she gave up fighting and submitted to his dominance. The blanket she was holding dropped to the ground as she r
Caly heard a knock on her door. Thinking it was her mom, she said, “Come in, Mama.” She heard the door open, and she looked up from the book she was reading lying on her bed and saw Ryker in the doorway. “I’m not your mom, but can I still come in?” he asked hesitantly.“What do you want?” --she as
“Today started out as the best day ever, now it has turned into the worst! Rae, I’m so embarrassed.” “There is nothing to be embarrassed about Caly. Your brother and his friend are just stupid teenagers like you said earlier.”“I know, but still, I can’t believe Ryker started to read the note out
Meanwhile, as Travis was in the kitchen, he heard Caly yell and he decided to go and see if she was ok. “Be back in a sec, Eli,” he said. Travis walked into the hallway and he saw her stomping down the hallway, muttering to herself, unaware of him watching her. He watched her for another minute, sh
“Caly! Caly! Caly! Wake Up! Wake Up! Hurry! --” came her brother, Eli’s, excited voice through the bedroom door-- “Mama’s got a surprise for you! Come on!” This was promptly followed by a loud banging on the bedroom door. Next, she heard her baby brother Arden yelling, “CAL! CAL! CAL!” Eli must be
