The Birthday Party

Fiona’s POV

I looked so good!

Mitt had bought me an amazing dress for the night of the party. It was tight and magenta. It dipped low in the back and had a slit that had four rows of diamonds connecting the slit. I felt luxurious and beautiful.

“Wow you are stunning,” Mitt smiled when I stepped out of the bathroom. “You are a vision.”

“You think?” I smiled happily.

“I know so. I wish I could be there with you tonight.”

“You can be,”

“No, I can’t. Tonight is about you and your friends. Besides partying with people like twenty years younger than me doesn’t sound very fun.”

“I guess I understand that. Will you at least wait up for me? Or is it going to be past your bedtime?” I teased.

“I’ll have some coffee and stay up for you.” He kissed me. “You should get going. Have fun.”

“I love you Mitt.”

“I love you too, Fiona. You’re my star.”
