The night had been a rough one for Mavero Croven. He can no longer sleep in peace because of the frustration and desperation of wanting to find the actual suspect who is doing these things to his daughter. It may not seem obvious but he treasures Shane more than his life and he is willing to give up everything for her. It was midnight and he is still on the 22nd floor of his company, thinking deeply and browsing the files his men had sent to him. Files that contain the background of Jerome Fuenter, the father of Erwan and Nathan Fuenter.
