Erwan’s POV
The whole day of class was dull and boring, I don’t know if this is because Shane wasn’t around or the lessons didn’t really interest me much. I have been glancing at the door of the classroom from time to time, waiting for Shane to barge in and apologize to the professor for being late but it did not happen. The class ended but she didn't come.
I tried to call her after class but her phone is out of reach. Is she still sleeping? I went to the cafeteria, expecting to see her eating and laughing with her friends but she’s not there. I waved to Jase and Olivia when I spotted them and hurried over to their table to ask if they saw Shane. They looked at me in confusion.
“We thought she was with you,” Jase said.
“I’ve been calling her but she’s out of reach.”
“Maybe she’s ill,” Olivia suggested but shook her head after realizing what she said
Third Person’s POV:It’s late at night and Erwan headed home after talking to Mavero, they don’t have a single clue about Shane’s whereabouts. Mavero told him everything in the past and why Jerome Fuenter is mad at him.Erwan's rage grew for his father as he realized that a worthless parent like him could blame someone for his failure when he was the one who had lost all of his money and properties due to his gambling addiction. He even had the audacity to involve the help of his elder brother in his so-called vengeance. Pathetic, he thought.Erwan furiously opened the door of their house and slammed it soundly upon seeing his brother inside. When he saw Nathan, he attempted to contain the wrath pouring inside him, but he couldn't stop the burning fire in his chest. He couldn’t believe that Nathan is still there in the living room, typing something away on his laptop abo

I bet I can taste the heaven on her lips.”They laughed together and despite what he was hearing, Erwan tried to remain coolThe priority is to save her. He can’t bear to lose his temper now, he thought.“You two, remain on your toes. I'm being called inside by the boss; don't let anyone in or I'll be the one to kill you both.” With a deep raspy voice, the larger of the three, who appears to be their leader, warned them and went inside.Erwan took this as his chance and prepared himself to gain the attention of the two men who had been left. He needs to make sure that he won’t be noticed. He thinks he can handle them, given that their brain has nothing but lust. His eyes searched for stones and grab
Erwan rushed to Shane and pushed his brother away. He held the face of the woman he loves.“Shane, look at me,” he pleaded, but Shane’s eyes are swollen and she can barely keep it open. There are bruises on her arms and when he held her hands, he heard a groan escape from her mouth like she’s in so much pain. His forehead creased. Erwan looked at her hands. The back of her left-hand looks like it had been burnt. He can’t bear to imagine the amount of terrific terror Shane had to experience inside this very room. Erwan controlled his emotions. Anger is surging inside him but he is trying to contain it… for now.Erwan tucked the strands of her hair into her ear and brushed it softly with his fingers.“You’ll be okay now, Shane. I’m going to get you out of here.”He cautiously removed the duct tape on her lips, careful not to hurt
Shane’s POVI felt like something heavy is wedging in my arms, I want to restrain myself from it but I find it hard to move. After few tries, I can finally able to open my eyes but closed them again when the overwhelming brightness coming outside the window met my gaze. The heaviness in my arms started to lighten, “Shane?” I heard a voice called my name.“Omg, Shane. I’m sorry, I fell asleep on your arms!” The same voice exclaimed. So that’s why I felt like it’s heavy? Shit.A sigh escaped from her. “Why am I even apologizing? It’s not like you can hear me,” she said.I smiled flashed on my face after finally recognizing who she is.“Oliv,” I whispered while my eyes were still closed.“Oh my gosh, who is it?” I can feel that she’s panicking now. This silly girl.I raised my arms so she can notice that I am already co

Third Person's POVThe cold breeze of December greeted Erwan as soon as he reached Venile City."It's good to be back," he whispered to himself. He inhaled the home-like air in the city and smiled. The first thing he wants now is to see Shane and talk to her so he drove to the busy road of the city on the way to Shane's house.
