CHAPTER FIFTY-EIGHT

Selena’s POV

We were all done talking about our next plan and it was finally time for me to head down for breakfast with Raymond which I was dreading so much. I wished I could just have the maid bring my breakfast up to me in my room but due to how Raymond was, he was either going to get all suspicious and think I was up to something or he was going to lose his temper since he wasn’t in a good and he was going to discard all his anger on me. That was definitely something I didn’t wish to experience again so it was better I just played by his cards and mood for the time that he was going to have his way… until he wouldn’t anymore.

With a sigh, I stood up from my chair and I walked toward Alpha where he sat, then I placed a hand on his shoulder while he looked up at me.

“This will go well and we’re going to get Raymond out of that throne. Right?” I asked him and when he saw the worry in my eyes, he gave me an assuring smile before he placed his hand on mine and he nodded.

“I promise Sel
